Charming Story

The second book in the Accidental Billionaire Cowboy Romance series is a charming story of a cute couple destined for love. The topic of an assault is handled well, giving depth to the character Hallie. The relationship of TC and Hallie is one of trust building and of enjoying each other.

Romance with a little bit of drama

Hallie is recovering from a traumatic brain injury that has messed her ability to remember names and details. She has moved to Last Stand for a fresh start and to help her aunt at her wildlife rescue. TC meets Hallie as she is shoving one of his baby ostriches into the back of her car. he assumes it is because she want to return it to him so she can meet him. In reality, she has no idea who he is and was just trying to help the lost and injured bird. They ending up knowing some of the same people and start spending time together. She opens up about the attack on her in Houston and her TBI. He opens up about how uncomfortable he is with the money and attention he and his brothers receive from the billions they won. They take things slow and TC is determined to keep her safe. Good read.

Loved it!

This is the second book in this series. I have to say that it grabbed my attention from the very beginning. I loved the story line. Both TC and Hallie have issues they have to deal with from their pasts in order to move forward. Their story was heartwarming. All the animals just helped make the story more entertaining. Looking forward to the next book in this series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

the brothers are back

I really liked the first book, so I was really excited to get my hands on this next book in the series. Hallie faced some very tough things and she was not going to let that stop her from living her best life. TC was always willing to help his neighbors, friends and those he loved and cared for, which with both these characters I like I felt it just made them relatable. However I was not a huge fan of both of them throughout the whole book I found them to both come off very juvenile and slightly immature which sometime came off a little annoying sometimes. I really did enjoy catching up with Ava, John and Carly from book one, I loved how Carly and Ava where little matchmakers "behind" the scenes, but Carly was very much the bull from book one there really is no messing with her and her family. I can say I honestly can't wait to see where the author takes Cody and Xander. Overall I liked the story and I was glad that the author kept this a good clean read so its suitable for all, it was very quick read for me as well.

Love the Ostriches

Charming the Billionaire Cowboy is the second book in The Accidental Billionaire Cowboys, my favorite series by Kris Bock. After winning the lottery, TC Tomlinson and his family have learned the problems that can come with that. TC is building a ranch with alternative livestock, right now ostriches. One little escapee causes TC to meet Hallie Armstrong. Both characters are wary with good but different reasons.

I loved seeing TC and Hallie building a relationship of friendship that leads to more. There are lots of animals to enjoy along the way. Family is important, animals are important, and safety is important in this heartwarming story. I highly recommend this series and especially Charming the Billionaire Cowboy. You will be charmed too.
