Hiring a new office manager isn't as easy as it should be--until Melissa York comes along with her pragmatic manner and no-nonsense ways.

Melissa York has resigned herself to being alone. What man wants a woman with a possible cancer reoccurrence in her future? She's accepted her fate. But all too soon Melissa finds herself jealous of the women throwing themselves at Bryan which means she's falling for her boss and if Bryan finds out, he'll fire her like he did the last one.

Can she keep her feelings to herself--or has Bryan finally found a woman he wants to keep?

Falling for Her Boss

A beautiful romance times two. An easy to read clean down to earth.
Pain of being sick and reminding us all that we are not immortal.

good storyline, but Melissa frustrated me

After finishing Brody’s Redemption, I was really looking forward to this book. I started reading it immediately; which I probably should not have done. I love the fact that Ashley and Joe are secondary characters in this book and we get to see them plenty. That is the reason I gave it 4 stars and not 3. And also, I DID like the storyline (There are good moments between her and Bryan), but Melissa really frustrated me and I just wanted to shake her!!!

****SPOILER******She just kept on whining about her cancer — which is in remission, by the way — and thinking (saying) that no man can love a woman without breasts. The way she reacted when she found out about her father and Ellen is also over the top. The man is 47 and has been a widower for 13 years, for crying out loud!!!! Did she expect him to be alone for the rest of his life???

Overall, I liked the book. There were quite a few good moments. So, if you can overlook Melissa’s self pitying, you’ll probably love it.
