Great Read and Series

I am really enjoying this series as it brings relationship abuse to the forefront. Bennett has been abused her whole life and doesn't know how to trust, so when a trustworthy man, Nash, comes along she doesn't response well, plus she has a secret no one knows. Will she trust Nash, and will her secret come out?
The characters are well developed, and the continuity is consistent.
I highly recommend this book and series.

Loved it, loved the twists in this story. Bennett becomes fearless against her past. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Love this series

Seriously, these Shelter Sister books keep getting better and better if you haven’t tried them yet you should. Bennett is one tough chick. Her story is a crazy one and I love how Nash is so patient and understanding with her. I love this series and can’t wait for the rest of the stories!

Truth behind fear

Such a wonderful book! Heather definitely knows how to tell a story, weave in parts of other stories, keep us guessing, and finish it out with heart. Bennett has been running for years, living only to survive and keep her daughter safe. Her attitude towards Nash when they met was unexpected, but I see more of her character now and see how it fits. The two work well together and understand each other, but fear stands in Bennett's way of trusting and loving. There is much to this story and a great read! I have loved the Shelter Sister's and seeing their way to happy and safe living.

Definitely recommend

I am really enjoying the Shelter Sisters series by Heather Tullis! This is about a group of women and their children who meet in a women's shelter and end up living together in an apartment building. Bennett is the star of this book with her love story and fight to protect her daughter highlighted. I'd definitely recommend this book!
