One winter night can change everything.

Jonah Owens came to Echo Ridge hoping a fresh start—and a new art gallery—would finally bring some peace to his life. But the plan gets complicated fast when he has to sell his grandmother’s house… and his neighbor’s farm animals make the place a hard sell.

For Kaya Feidler, those animals are more than pets—they’re the heart of the struggling therapy business She started on the land her family has owned for over a century. She’s not about to give up her land, her work, or the legacy she’s fighting to preserve.

When Jonah's grandma pressures him into hiring Kaya temporarily at the gallery for the holiday season, their reluctant truce turns into easy conversation, shared laughter, and a spark neither expected. But with old insecurities and conflicting futures standing between them, friendship may be all they can safely hope for.

Unless one winter night proves that love—like art—sometimes needs a little faith to take shape.

Loved it!

I have read and re-read many of Heather's books. I love how you meet so many great characters and see them in such wonderful places. It is always fun to see beloved characters popping up for a quick visit in other stories and not just their own. Heather is an amazing writer. Thanks so much for introducing me to so many great characters and stories.

Heart warming

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love that the characters in this book display their flaws (being cranky and judge mental) as well as their strengths. I enjoyed the small glimpse into the life of an art gallery owner. I even enjoyed the frosty weather, and I don’t like being cold (there is something to be said for warm hugs and some hand holding on a frosty night).

One Winter Night

I am so glad this is book 1in Heather's Echo Ridge. She manages to capture your attention and the story seems to flow. You want to be in Kaya's barn, on the ice skating rink and even drinking cocoa in the cafe. Jonah has a heart of gold. Reading this makes you want to be there.
