Keeping score is the quickest way to lose.

Anica Maggard was born under a lucky star. Her big sister became her very best friend. Her debut novel was an instant bestseller. She lived in the apartment of her dreams at the age of twenty-five.

But luck changes. . . and sometimes it runs out entirely.

Cancer steals her sister, and that loss robs Anica of her words. Years later, she still can't even find the desire to search for them.

Ethan Trainor coasts through life, trading on his boyish grin, cerulean eyes, and ample trust fund to succeed. No one has ever bothered to peel back the façade and discover that Ethan's glorious life didn't begin with a silver spoon.

It began with bars on his windows.

A boiling rage simmers just below the surface, and when the demons from his past swing back around, that fury threatens to consume him.

When fate drags Ethan to Atlanta to confront his past and Anica there to search for her future, can they both find the peace they need to let go? Or will they lose what really matters in the process?

Final book, love brings peace

The finale book in the finding series (or at least for now). We meet Ethan all the way back in book 2 and I’m so excited to see him get his happy ending. Ethan had a troubled childhood and he’s still full of anger. Anica is still coming to terms with her sister Lizzie dying and where that puts her now. Both need peace in their lives. Read about how they find it and enjoy! Loved this book

Finding Peace has great characters

I really liked the leading characters, Anica & Ethan in this book. Anica is an author who is currently in a writing slump. Ethan is a former fighter who works for his Dad's hotel chain. They bring out the best in each other. They both have baggage from their pasts. There are lots of other characters who could have their own stories, but there are so many it is hard to keep straight who's who, and which gal is with which guy, thus minus 1 star. I enjoyed reading this book. NO SPOILERS

Finding Peace: Finding Home Series Book 8

This is a good story with characters that could be friends a reader might find in real life. As with many series you will be a little lost as to who is who, unless you have read the previous books. This writer did not write this story as a stand alone story. The pressure of publishers on writers to produce story after story is straight out of real life. The cash cows of a successful series is a guaranteed job security for all of the party’s involved in a writers life. For me the story had some Incongruences, because I did not read all of the previous stories to get the back story on the cast of characters. Mary’s character in particular and Lizzie’s children’s easy use of mom is an example. Overall the series seems good.

Finding Peace

Loved every single booking the series. Inked how the series started with Luke and Mary and ended with you finding out their pregnant again in the last book of the series. Can't wait to start a new series!
