Born to be a cattleman, Finn Farraday is living his dream—running the family's West Texas ranch. Even though his brothers have found the loves of their lives, Finn isn't looking for a wife. Not even if she literally falls into his arms.

City Girl Joanna Gaines knows she's not cut out for the nine to five rat race. But the ambling West Texas pace isn’t her speed either. That is until a ghost of an idea, and a last minute career-building opportunity lands her in the arms of the one good man that got away.

Sorry I can't be more enthusiastic

Much as I hate to give less than 5 stars, I just couldn't - Finn & Joanna's story wasnt lacking in the back story. However, I felt like their present was brief and energyless. No conflict. It wasn't exciting. Somewhat endearing, but a lot of that had to do with info provided in the earlier books and the familial connection. And the only hook for me was based on having read A,B,C,D,& E, so I wanted to finish F.

Finn - my new Favorite Farraday!!

I love this whole series, but Finn may just be my favorite Farraday brother... he's just a really great guy, and the kind of man that every girl wants to be with - honorable, but not above being a little bit bad given the right opportunity! This was such a well-crafted story... Joanna and Finn had been house-mates in college, but always just friends, so it was fun to see their story unfold when she comes to Tuckers Bluff in search of material for a magazine article - and maybe in search of Finn, too, after all those years had passed!?? After finding out Ethan was a dad in the previous book, I held my breath a bit about what the real relationship was between Finn and Joanna, but it was sure a lot of fun reading to find out!! This book jumped into the favorite position in the series for me - but I can't wait to see what comes next, and then I think I will read the whole series again!

Great writing, good hook, leaves you wanting to know all the characters.

I enjoyed reading Farraday Country series 1-6. Each book with a Farraday highlighted, the family living on a country farm, Aunt Eileen who has raised all of the children since her sister passed away. Simple country life in Texas. Very entertaining and an easy quick read, just enough to hook you into reading the series!! The part I didn't like is the author asking for a review every other chapter, and her name on a block on the other chapters , she writes well, and shouldn't have to beg for reviews.

Happy with the Story but hate the advertisement

I just love this series of books and cannot wait to read the rest because the storyline is so entertaining. I wish that the stories had a little more depth to the love story. I love that these are clean books but I wish that it took the characters a little longer to realize they are in love. To me for the price the stories are just too short. That being said however, when I finish this series I will probably not ready anything else by this author. I hate that Chris' name is at the beginning of every second to third chapter. I also hate that the request for reviews are at the beginning of every chapter that does not have Chris' name on it. I have stated this before. I buy movies so I do not have to watch the commercials and I buy books instead of magazines because I hate advertisements. I have no problem with the request for the review at the end of the book, but let's face it. All of the advertising and reminders in the middle of the book are just annoying. Chris is a great writer and I do not mind saying so, but I do not like being reminded that the author needs their ego stroked between every chapter and I do not need to be reminded who wrote the book in the middle either. If I like the stories I will come back and buy more books. If I really like the book I will leave a review.

Finn (Farraday Country Book 6) ... Chris Keniston

Book 6 in Farraday Country series and this was one book I could not put down and did not want to ! Finn Farraday comes to the rescue of Joanna Gaines a woman he has not seen in six years they where best friends and room-mates with others as they went through college. Joanna has come to write a story about the country where Finn is ranching, but she seems to draw rattlesnakes to her. When Finn first sees her again the dog everyone sees before they meet the women meant to be theirs came to him and lead him to a tree where Joanna was to get away from the snake she had almost stepped on. I could not help but laugh at some of the things these two do. I was gifted a copy but liked the book so much that I bought it. I can hardly wait for the next book.
