Zandra Curtis’s world is turned upside down when she finds out her husband has cheated. But she doesn’t believe in throwaway marriages, and she won’t let go without a fight. As Zandra tries to heal her marriage, she is also trying to figure out how to heal the lesions on her French Mastiff’s joints. Dog coach Cason O’Connor, with his easy-going manner and good looks shows up at just the wrong time and Zandra, ever-faithful to her husband, keeps her distance.

Cason quickly falls in love with the Curtis’s Mastiffs, but he’s careful about getting close to the attractive—but very married—owner. Having been hurt by a cheating fiancée, the last thing Cason wants is to cause problems for the young couple.

Can Zandra find a way to convince her husband to fight for their marriage? Or is she fighting the wrong fight altogether?

Heartwarming story of Faith

I like the story. I like the dogs. Daniel had me worried that the Happily Ever After was not possible, but he writes great interesting stories.

Choosing to walk with God

I love how your writing honours Him! The two main characters have strong values and make choices accordingly. Bad choices and consequences are also described. This one struck close to home for me... Thank you for examples of setting boundaries.

clean romance

I have enjoyed this author and he didn’t disappoint in this book either. This book was previously published as How to Heel a Wounded Heart. This is a clean romantic comedy and the dogs are good part of the story.

Treats betrayal

A story illustrating a good way to deal with betrayal & broken promises. The characters remained honest with themselves & others as they experienced tough circumstances.
I've so enjoyed this author's books & kind of struggled in the middle of this one. I'd recommend an epilogue showing the result of the main character's decisions. It does have an HEA as the characters meet several months later.

COMMITMENT

Fighting to save a marriage when the other person doesn’t seem to want to. Or does one finally say enough. A good look at commitment and what that means, was brought out very well by the author
