A well done romance

This story flowed very nicely and the characters were people you would want to know. I enjoyed this author's style of writing. I couldn't give it a full five stars due to multiple typo errors. A good beta reader would take care of that. I'd read this author again. This book's title and the next book in the series are near matches to well-known Christmas movies. Clever.

Good, but could use more editing

It was cute and straightforward with few surprises, but I loved it and read it quickly. But I wanted to take a red pen to so many pages because there were letters missing and words that should be capitalized. The story was worth it, but I'm not sure I'd read it again in its current firm.

Fun holiday romance

It was fascinating to read how David, a truly good man, couldn’t see all of the good things he was doing and how he was helping other people. I liked how the town’s people showed up for him and helped him see what a difference he was making. And I loved how Sarah didn’t get offended or feel left out. But she simply supported and helped David through it all. This book is a fun play on “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

Nice nod to a classic

I enjoy Summers romances, and this Christmas series with nods to classics is a lot of fun. Well, this one has some fun for sure- but, like It’s a Wonderful Life, does get a bit heavy. It’s also HEA, so if you’re looking for deep literature, you’re in the wrong section of the bookstore. ; )
