Who knew that a little mistletoe could help Holly find the beauty within?

After a fire leaves half of her face and neck scarred, Holly was sure she’d never find someone to look beyond past the physical and emotional scars left behind. That is, until her roommate’s date kisses her under the mistletoe on a playful dare. But the girl code dictates that Eric is off limits, he is her roommate’s crush. Even though she feels seen for the first time since her accident, Holly has to decide how to move forward without Eric.

After Eric kisses Holly, he can’t just move on as she suggests. She has been his friend for years and suddenly his feelings are alive. He can’t take her roommate out again as if nothing happened. Eric is determined to help Holly see herself as the amazing woman he is falling in love with, no matter the cost.

Will Holly be able to see herself through Eric’s eyes and begin to heal the scars that no one else can see?

sweet romance perfect for Christmas

A kiss under the mistletoe was all it took. Holly is smitten with Eric. And Eric feels the same. They have been friends for years. Eric is her roommate’s date so they can’t be more than friends. Plus, Holly is sure that no one can see past the scars, to ever want a serious relationship with her. They try to ignore their feelings. Neither wanting to hurt their friend. This is a sweet romance perfect for this time of the year. I give this book 5 stars.

Nothing Cold About this Sweet Read!

What a sweet treat during the Christmas season from this sweet and clean romance author!Holly and Eric felt their first surge of attraction ectricity under a sprig of mistletoe hanging beneath the doorway in Holly's college apartment. Even though one of her roommates already had her eyes on him...Holly had suffered a terrible hot grease accident that left part of her face and neck badly scarred. Once known for her outward and inner beauty, she has to deal with rude looks and comments.Could she allow herself to be open to love? And could she set aside her loyalty to her roommate and friend?Eric truly liked Holly. He was attracted to her. Inviting her to meet his parents should've been a positive, but was she good enough for his controlling mother? These obstacles, alongside other college ups and downs took me back to some of my college years. The puppy love that I thought was real... I actually enjoyed the nostalgia. This book would be well enjoyed by a young adult or new adult who enjoys romance without the spice! Wholesome, sweet, clean, and Hallmark-esque!

So good

So good! I loved this book! Holly and Eric are prefect for each other! I love how Eric sees behind her scars and that they never bothered him. I was so happy when he stood up to his very mean mom and how his dad was so great. I loved the whole story!I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily share my honest opinion.

Kisses and Self Worth

Sometimes we allow ourselves to shy away from experiences due to things that have happened to us. That is the case in Mistletoe Kisses. Holly's childhood was not pleasant and due to some experiences that have left her scarred, she doesn't trust people around her. She faces her challenges on her own as much as she can, but is helped by her roommates Diane and Aimee. When the mistletoe sent by Diane's mom for the holidays begins to create sparks, Holly begins to hope. Will she find the guy who will fight for her? Will she see her own worth? You will be cheering for Holly in her adventures, just like I did. This cute, quick read will pull you in, and get you thinking about putting up your own mistletoe for the holidays!
