Ok

I must admit to struggling with cowboy books. The language of endearment is just so foreign to me. Apart from that, it was a reasonable story with a good ending.

One summer day

This is a beautiful love story. Two brothers so different. A loving family romance, set on a ranch, what could be more perfect

Macie and Holt find each other....again, but it’s complicated

Macie has had a very difficult few years, but thank goodness she has Ruby by her side. Ruby is her three year old daughter. Now, she is traveling to the ranch owned by her ex-in-laws so that Ruby can get to know her grandparents. Determined to give her young daughter the kind of love a child needs, she is unsure how she will be greeted by the family of her ex-husband, Knox. Holt is there at the airport to pick Macie and Ruby up and drive them to the family ranch. Holt, Knox’s older brother, had met Macie four years ago at the rodeo where Knox was competing and found her to be a sweet young lady. But when Knox shows up, he immediately talks Macie into going to a dirt dance that night with him. Can she give Ruby the family love and support her little girl deserves? Will Knox’s parents be able to accept that Macie has no interest in getting back with their son? Will Holt be given a second chance to show Macie how he really feels? This is a sweet cowboy romance.

I think I have found one of my favorite authors

This is the second book I read from this author. And her books are so good! The characters really come to life and have their own voice. I recommend "Just add mischief". It was even better than this one.
