Clean romance

Sweet romance with lots to like. Difficult topics are dealt with well. I could feel Alicia's pain in some ways. My mother started hording but for different reasons. I know what it is like to have to hide removing things and find an alternative way to dispose of trash so she didn't fish things out of the bin. It is stressful and frustrating. Alicia had great patience. Having never dealt with this kind of hording, I don't know if the quick turn around is realistic or not. Perhaps that varies from person to person but it was nice to end on a more positive note. The romance had a good deal of angst and ups and downs. But that too ends well in their happily ever after. No sex, language or violence

Nice, modern romance

Wonderful characters and interesting back story. Addresses hoarding and long lost loves. I really wish there was more of a story towards the end. Loved the ending.

Pleased with the character growth

I wasn't sure how much I'd like this one. The main character, Jeff, is a little shady at the beginning. Or rather, he has a colorful past. I wasn't sure how Alicia could stand to be with him. But growth and new beginnings are a part of life, so I'm glad she gave him a chance. Alicia's mom has some issues, and they were resolved nicely. I felt like that switch was a bit quick, but I'm not complaining. This is technically clean, but I'd say it's probably still PG13. I can't wait to read more books in the series.
