Marietta has a way of bringing people together… Cowboy Chet Hardwick is in Marietta, Montana, to compete in the 85th Copper Mountain Rodeo. Chet’s not there to make any waves, he needs to focus on the rodeo, avoid his deadbeat father, and return home. But when the beautiful owner at his bed-and-breakfast needs assistance, Chet can’t resist stepping in to help. After a life-altering accident, Amy Arden left her Wall Street job and impulsively bought Bramble House B&B. While she learns the ropes, she’s also determined to uncover a secret from her late mother’s past—Amy’s birth father. The staff aren’t happy with Amy’s new ideas and quit, leaving Amy struggling to keep the fully booked inn operating. She finds an unexpected ally in one of her guests, a handsome, lone wolf cowboy, who is surprisingly easy to talk to. But just as their friendship heats up, ghosts from both their pasts arrive at Bramble House. Amy knows Chet is the man she wants, but as Chet receives news that will take him far from Marietta, will he find his way back to her?

Heartwarming

Amy is starting over in Marietta. She has recently purchased the town's bed and breakfast Bramble House. After informing the staff of the upcoming changes, everyone quits. Chet is in town to compete in the rodeo. He ends up booked at Bramble House. It is so not his thing. He plans to bale on it but then he sees the pretty girl with the limp and he is smitten. They both have a lot of baggage to work through. Can they come to terms with their own issues to give this thing between them a chance? Good read.

An intense, emotional romance

Promise Me Please, Cowboy was such a delightful book, with so many layers full of misunderstandings, acceptance, and finding exactly where one belongs. I was so caught up in Amy and Chet's romance, as well as being able to return to one of my favorite fictional towns. Their romance isn't going to be smooth sailing at all, but what an emotional and entertaining journey it was to their happy ending. Loved this one and would highly recommend it.

Love Visiting Marietta

An emotionally engaging story that I could not put down. Amy needed a change i her life after her mom died, so she bought the Bramble House in Marietta, a bed and breakfast. She has no clue what she is doing but soon finds out how wonderful and helpful Marietta is. Chet is coming through Marietta for the rodeo and stays at the B&B, soon a friendship develops but Chet is not looking for anything more. Both are dealing with family issues.Oh my, have those tissues ready, happy and sad tears but a promised happy ending. I am in love with these characters both with personal issues but help each other. Loved visiting Marietta and previous characters. I wish it was a real town.
