Sappy, sugary sweet overload

If you want a squeaky clean, highly predictable romance with a bizarre amount of guns and nauseating machismo, this is the book for you. Poorly edited—especially with the timeline and verb tenses. Do not recommend.

Sweet small town romance..

This is a lovely small town romance.. I liked it very much.. It is sweet and entertaining, with a touch of danger and drama..I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Promise of Hope: I liked how for the longest time that Mitch and Allison have had feelings for each other but neither one knew because they didn't want to cause problems because of her brother Sloan. I liked all of the suspense and surprises throughout the story. I liked how Mitch and Allison behaved around each other but Sloan had no clue about the sparks that were happening between them. She was doing a lot to avoid her feelings. She was so worried about being let down by a man and making her big brother proud she put herself last. Mitch would do anything to protect her as well as make her suck seed. Neither Mitch nor Sloan knew what really happen between her and Rob. She was a proud person she didn't want anyone to know what he really had done to her. It was really a wonderful story of friendship and love.

If you have been reading the series then Promise of Hope (Harland Creek Series Book 6) by Jodi Allen Brice is one you wanted to read. I know I did. Allison Jackson is an upbeat, intelligent, I know how to work and I know how to have fun type of person. I liked her immensely so I was glad to see her get her story.Starting a business is difficult especially in a small town. However, if anyone can do it my money would be on Allison. Sloan has the big protector brother attitude down pat so it is no wonder work is easier than dating for Allison. However, love has will not be stopped. This falling for the friend of my brother is a wonderful addition to the series. Besides I never understood the “stay away from my sister” attitude going on n stories. If it is someone you would want for a friend why wouldn’t that hold true for the rest of the family?Be swept off your feet with Allison and Mitch. Recommend to all true hearted romance fans. I loved their story.The publisher/author gave me a complimentary ARC of the book through Booksprout which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Allison is trying to get her interior design business off the ground . She is also trying to hide a secret that she doesn't want to get out . But when she looses her one design job she is devastated until her brothers best friend Mitch comes into the picture, a police officer and owner of a house that needs to be fixed up. There is more between these two then meets the eyes . When she decides to help him with his house remodel . Sparks start to fly after long hours working together . Mitch is ready to tell Allison how he feels . Will they admit to each other how they feel and will Allison get the back bone to stand up to everyone and come out of being Sloane's little sister .Omg I love these characters so much . Allison has always been a people pleaser she really can't say no to anyone . There is more to Allison then meets the eye though. She is one tough cookie when push comes to shove she will stand up for what she wants and stands up for the people in her life . She is one feisty woman who grows up through the book . Mitch oh my goodness he is such a good guy , he is sexy and smart and totally in love with the boss's sister, They are both such fun characters and it is sweet how they fall in love with each other . Sloane , Grace and Tabitha are also back and funnier then ever . These characters are so much fun to read .This is a sweet story of love and redemption, the characters are so well written and with each book they become more and more complex. The author has a way of building a great story with great characters and honestly its like the town is actually a character in the book . I also love how this is a sweet story and you can really feel the love come off the page with out a lot of sex scenes . I can't wait to read the next book in the series . So if you want a sweet story that will give you all the feels check it out .
