Great addition to series

The Arranger by Jennifer Spredemann is tremendous. This is possibly one of the truest love stories ever told. This book is the 10th in the Amish Country Brides series and fits in beautifully.Lucy Bontrager is the Bishop’s youngest daughter. When she finds herself “In the family Way” by an Englisher no less, her father seeks to marry her off to a good Amish man.Amish bachelor, Justin Beachy is chosen to fill the part of husband and dad by Lucy’s father. In Jennifer’s unique way of storytelling, the plot unwinds in a predictable way, only to be containing an unexpected twist to the outcome. The storyline is Fast-paced and predictable….until it isn’t. Characters are so realistic you think they are know members of your community.I highly recommend this excellent addition to this series showing that God is in control.I was given an ARC by the author, but was not required to give a positive review. All options are my own for this 5-star, not to be missed, book.

Awesome book

Lucy, who is Amish becomes involved with Trey, an Englischer who just joined the military and is going overseas. She soon discovers she is pregnant and begins to worry about how her dad, who is the Bishop will accept the news when he finds out. When her dad approaches and arranges for Justin, a local Amish man, to marry Lucy and pretend the child is his, will Justin readily agree to this sudden arrangement? Justin seeks out the wisdom of his elderly and wise friend, Sammy, from the previous books in the Amish Country Bride series, to help him figure out what to do. Several quotes spoke to my heart that was in the book. Two of Justin’s quotes 1-“It is the grace of God that cleanses from all sin”.2-“That is the beauty of Dee Herr’s (Gods) grace. It is called amazing grace for a reason. His grace transforms our frailties into strengths. It turns out failures into triumphs and our biggest blessings. With Him, I believe we can conquer anything.” And Sammy’s quote, “Love seldom looks the way we imagine.” I highly recommend this book.I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book I received for my honest opinion. All words are my own.

A story filled with faith and grace

I’ve read and enjoyed many of Jennifer Spredemann’s Amish books, but I think that this one is now my favorite. That’s because I admired one of the main characters, Justin Beachy. He showed great unselfishness when he agreed to marry a young woman that he didn’t really know in order to hide the true circumstances of her pregnancy, even though this unfairly marred his own reputation. As Lucy and Justin learned to know each other through their marriage of convenience, they soon found they had much in common and seemed on their way to a happy life together. However, things did not always go as they hoped as they faced an unexpected consequence from Lucy’s past decisions. The author took this story in a way that I didn’t quite expect. She choose to have her characters show God’s love in the lives of all the characters, and how God’s forgiveness and grace can work for good in our lives. So many authors would not have chosen this twist in the storyline, and I found it refreshing. I’d recommend this book to you as both enjoyable and thoughtful reading.I voluntarily received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

She stared down at itin disbelief. Two blue lines. Ach, this could notbe. It couldn’t. She was the bishop’s dochder. Shecouldn’t be in the familye way. Especially notwith an Englischer’s boppli.Nee. Tears rushed to the surface, threatening to spill over her lashes and onto hercheeks. Take a deep breath, she told herself. It’sgoing to be okay. It’ll work out. Somehow.“What does your dochder think of allthis?”“Lucy has no idea I’m talking to you.But I told her I would help her find a solution.”Ach du liebe. “Well, that’s great.
