He’s a prince bound by tradition.

She’s a shopkeeper’s daughter with Olympic-sized dreams.

Falling for each other breaks every rule—except the ones of the heart.

Prince Tripp Valdez—third in line to the throne and forever overshadowed by his brothers—has accepted a quiet life of service to the Crown. Nothing shakes his calm… until he wanders into a small shop and meets Jenneca, the spirited daughter of a local shipowner.

Jenneca has spent her life working behind the counter, shelving her true talent as a world-level downhill skier. Her family can’t afford elite training, and duty demands she follow their path of service to the royal family. She is prepared to let her dreams fade—until Prince Tripp steps into her shop and sees her in a way no one else ever has.

Their attraction is instant. Their future is impossible.

Tradition forbids a royal and a commoner from being together, and Jenneca risks losing both her family’s approval and her last chance at skiing glory. But Tripp can no longer imagine a life without her. When duty and desire collide, he must decide whether he will follow centuries of royal expectations… or dare to rewrite the rules for love.

A tender, heart-stealing romance about choosing love, chasing dreams, and breaking the traditions that hold us back.

Nice story, but too many typos.

This novella is a nice, clean romance. So many typos that it made it difficult to understand what the author was trying to say. The heroine, her ex-boyfriend, and the village's names were all spelled differently throughout the book. Then there was a lot of punctuation and grammatical errors, too. This book really needs an editor.

A prince and a baker meet on the ski slope

A prince and a baker meet on the ski slope, sounds like the starting of a joke. However, a joke it is not it's a premise of this great love story. I enjoyed this book. A sort of strong female and male leads. Childhood sweethearts, who come back together and train for the Olympics in skiing. She get into a dangerous situation and he's there to rescue her. It's a great love story.

Fun storyline

I loved the story of downhill skiing and family obligations vs personal dreams.I struggled with the choppiness of the story but will read it again to make sure it wasn’t just my children needing my attention.
