WHY!! AN END TO A GREAT SERIES

I read a lot of books and a plentiful amount with dragons as the main characters. I cannot get enough of them. When I read a book as good as The Kings (this book lol) it leaves me in awe of the authors mind and how she is able to picture the story being played out and put it into the words that will capture the minds of her readers to enable them to see the story exactly as she saw it. This takes great skill and imagination and I LOVE IT.The book follows on from Skye (book four). We see The Kings as they come together to try and find a way to win the war against a great evil in the White Witch and possibly the humans. The Queens have their own roles to play in this coming war. I think I ducked at one point when a dragon was coming in for the kill but sshhh no one needs to know that 😉. The Kings will not always agree with each other but you need to read the book to find out if they were all able to come together to win, no spoilers here sorry!I am heartbroken that this is the last in the series, I have cried. 😢It is definitely an on the edge of your seat read, you will become so lost in this world with dragons all else will be lost to you (until you reach the end that is), you wI'll not ge abe to put the book down, i guarantee it.. Please be warned though, tissues will be a requirement!!Amazon need to give us more stars as 5 is nowhere near enough for the quality of the wring in this magnificent story. This is a perfect end to one of the most amazing series I have ever read and I'm 47 so have read many.I recommend this book to all dragon lovers, to all fans of the fantasy genre, the supernatural genre, etc etc. Even if you are not a fan of this genre please read book 1, You Will be hooked. This, in my opinion, is not a standalone read. The books in the series should be read in number order.I voluntarily left a review after receiving an advance copy, I have also purchased a copy.

The Kings , The Dragon Kings Book 5

Fantastic fantasy fiction , Dragons verses Humans can they reach a compromise who will live who will die , I'd love to see this series made into a TV series.

Fell into the trap

Until this book the author had avoided the enemy is too strong trap. Other than that the book is fun and exciting to read. Head ripping off, blood covering without extreme details just a warning.😁

different twist on a dragon story

Fairly young in the writing pattern and style. Some typos. Some of the scenes don’t flow, but over all a good read.

Five Stars

I fell in love with Obsidian when I happened to stumble over it, while perusing another book. I have loved dragon stories ever since I read Ann McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern. The cover drew me in quickly, so I bought and read Obsidian. Then Aspen, Valentine, Skye and now, The Kings. This whole series has been a blast: from laughter, to tears, to nail bitting, to feeling an actual part of the story. The Kings is a great finish to a wonderful series that I will read again and again.
