The characters feel like someone you know

If you haven't read books 1-6, go back and read those first.I love this series and love each of the characters (even Helen). Maybe it's because I listened to a few of the audio books and I can "hear" what each character sounds like, but the author does such a good job of making each character real. The kids aren't just a name you heard once. Each child has a personality and a purpose. Each adult has a story that builds. It's book 7, so the characters are developed and now it's like keeping up with friends. Even so, it amazes me that she can write from the perspective of 6+ people in one book and keep the story progressing without being confusing. I'm excited and grateful she added a book 8 for Mandy.

Incredible

I devoured this one. Each character has been so real I find myself thinking about them while doing my daily life.Like friends, I wonder what they are doing. I've enjoyed all 7 of them. After I finish #8, where will I go next?

Disjointed story Line

I am currently reading this book. I have enjoyed previous books, but this one I have to keep looking back to connect what is going on with everyone referenced in each chapter.

Great marriage advice

I love the advise Abby gives to Donna! I sent a blurb of it to my daughter who is about to be married.

Another great book in this series

I have loved each book in this series and this one is no exception. All of the characters are so real to life. Things are good, things go wrong, life gets messy, there is heartache, there is joy and on and on. I read and bite my finger nails, what will happen next? Time to move on to the last one in the series. Try the first book and you will be hooked.
