Serendipity Book 3

AT THE END of her third season, Miss Sophia Gifford is firmly on the shelf, and she’s determined to accept her current suitor—a man she likes but cannot love.

When her sister decides to throw an impromptu summer house party, Sophia reluctantly agrees to help. What she doesn’t realize is that her sister has plans of her own—plans that would bring a certain childhood friend back into Sophia’s life.

It’s been nearly a decade since Sophia has seen Hugh Quinton. He’s grown into a handsome, charming, and successful—yet completely unacceptable—tradesman. Her mother looks down on him, her father detests him, and society would snub him in an instant. Sophia shouldn’t even consider him. But her heart won’t listen to reason, and before long, she finds herself wondering how much she is willing to sacrifice for love.

"A perfectly lovely blend of subtle humor, tender friendship, and rekindled romance!"

—Heidi, Heidi Reads

"This book brought smiles to my face and allowed me the most heavenly escape. The Solicitor's Son is delectable from cover to cover and I'm still standing by my thought that Rachael Anderson is an auto-read author every time."

—Katie, Hiding in the Pages

"This book was just the kind of fun and sweet romance novel I needed today. It was so good, I read it in one sitting and was left feeling rather satisfied with how everything turned out in the novel and the series."

Super good story

An excellent short sweet romance! Looking forward to another one real soon! Rachael is an author I can count on.

OK but annoying

Could have been good, but the anachronisms kept leaping up from the page to annoy. Things like kilometres, when Regency Britain used miles. Modern and American patterns of speech, for example mindset and overuse of the word for, as in like for you to do something. This author needs an editor with a feel for the period.

Another home run for Rachael

Another amazing book written by an amazing author. I love this author because she writes witty banter and creates scenes that make me laugh out loud. I was drawn into the characters right away because of the two previous books. I had always wanted to know what happened to Sophia. It was a wonderful story full of many different potential love interests, choices of the heart, and all the amazing characters from her previous two books. My favorite part of the book was the concept that we all have our own trials, none of them are the same. And we have to live our own stories the best way we know how. Sometimes we muddle our way through but we get through all the same.I like the twist Rachael gave the ending. There isn’t a lot of women her day and age that would take a risk/bold step like she did. But Sophia had to make her own happily ever after and she knew who she could make that with. And when you know, you have to take a leap of faith.
