Unknowingly cast as the bachelorette for her town’s charity dating event, Taycee Emerson wants out—immediately. Especially when she discovers that one of the eligible bachelors is Luke Carney, the boy who once held the unfortunate title of teenage crush she’d rather forget.

Worse still, the viewers—not Taycee—get to decide which bachelors stay and which go.

Determined to eliminate Luke as quickly as possible, Taycee launches a subtle campaign against his good name, hoping the audience will vote him off before things get awkward.

Unfortunately, Luke is an eye-for-an-eye kind of guy, and when he discovers what Taycee is up to, he decides a little revenge might be in order.

A lovely book

I wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. I will certainly check out more of her books. It's got love, anguish, fun and laughter mixed together to give a really enjoyable story. There are parts that make you laugh out loud and then towards the end there is an `oh no` moment. Read it .

Funny & Sweet

J. Whitus captured everything I feel in their review. This book is beautifully written and takes the reader back to their own childhood with memories of unrequited love. I loved all the characters involved in this book, Luke is fantastic, a cheeky chappy sort of person. Taycee is brilliant as the slightly bitter but ultimately resigned to her lot kind of person but beside them are some lovely characters that I'd love to see get their own HEA. Sterling, the spitter needs a strong woman to tame his idiosyncrasies and I'd love to see what woman could do that. Miles the sexy cowboy, Jake, the Californian hunk, even Jessa all deserve their HEA's and I'd really love to keep reading about them all. An excellent book, well worth a read.
