Meet Your Match Book 1

After years of scraping by to finish art school, Emma Makie finally lands her dream job—only to have everything unravel overnight. When tragedy strikes, Emma must move to Colorado Springs to take temporary custody of her two young nieces.

Armed with little more than determination, Emma suddenly finds herself responsible for two children, a mountain of bills, and a life she never planned for. What she does not need is the help of her infuriatingly confident neighbor, Kevin Grantham—who seems convinced she’s in over her head.

Emma is determined to prove him wrong.

But as Kevin continues to show up exactly when she needs him most, Emma begins to wonder if accepting help might not be the same thing as admitting defeat—and whether the one person she’s trying hardest to keep at a distance might be the one she needs most.

Editorial Reviews

"A perfectly lovely blend of subtle humor, tender friendship, and rekindled romance!"

—Heidi, Heidi Reads

"This book brought smiles to my face and allowed me the most heavenly escape. The Solicitor's Son is delectable from cover to cover and I'm still standing by my thought that Rachael Anderson is an auto-read author every time."

—Katie, Hiding in the Pages

"This book was just the kind of fun and sweet romance novel I needed today. It was so good, I read it in one sitting and was left feeling rather satisfied with how everything turned out in the novel and the series."

So wunderbar normal - So wonderfully normal

I had to buy the book because of the title - and read it within three days. Emma moves to Colorado Springs with her two nieces and her neighbor is the good-looking and slightly stiff children's dentist Kevin. Emma is full of (often false pride) and Kevin has his prejudices ... two people couldn't be more different. But you know the expression that opposites attract and so the two of them get closer. What I liked very much: The characters are absolutely realistic and "normal", you can empathize with them in seconds and instantly fell in love with them ... Simply wonderfully normal

Squeaky clean romance

A light hearted sweet romance where the similarities to Jane Austen end at the title. Emma’s (heroine) prideful behaviour was confusing especially the inconsistency - directed towards kevin(hero) only. Not far into the story it is explained tho. I’ve read good reviews about the authors other books which I’m looking forward to reading. Give this one a go if your after a sweet romance and that all important happily ever after.

Orgoglio e pregiudizio

is nice, A good read

The main characters have a mental strength in their character, responsible, very determined but a bit too stubborn. Accepting each other the way they are, is nice,A good read, especially for youngsters.

Rachael Anderson . . .I'm hooked!

Loved it! This was the first book I've read by Rachael Anderson and now I just want to read more! I just finished a book by Jennifer Peel - also my first one by her - which was really good too. Now I've gone and found two great new authors in one week! Rachael did a great job of capturing the "pride" and "prejudice" of the characters in a believable way. The story is told in the third person, so you hear the thoughts of both characters - which I have to say is definitely my preference - so you get to understand the reasons why they behaved as they did. The characters are very different people, but their personalities really complimented each other. Ms. Anderson has created a wonderful love story and now I can't wait to read the stories about the other two characters in the book. Rachael Anderson . . . I'm hooked!
