He hired her to find wives for his friends to win a bachelor bet, but he never expected to fall for the matchmaker.

Self-made tech billionaire Blaise Mortenson is determined to win a high-stakes wager to be the last bachelor standing among his friends. His foolproof plan? Hire a professional to match them all up. He enlists Hadley, a matchmaker known for running her business like a clandestine military operation with an unbeatable success rate.

What should be a simple business transaction quickly turns into something way more complicated. Hadley can precisely control every feasible outcome for her clients, but finding love for herself has always felt nearly impossible. She certainly didn't expect her happily ever after to potentially come in the form of a billionaire who isn't even looking for love.

As they work together to set up his friends, Blaise starts falling for the very woman he hired. The romantic conflict is clear: Hadley is bound by her strict professional rules, and Blaise is supposed to be remaining a bachelor. With his wager on the line, the stakes are incredibly high. Blaise begins to realize he’s in danger of losing more than just the bet—he might just lose his heart.

Good read

Enjoyable storyline and solid characters. I actually like how the author softened Blaise when he met the kids. Haven’t read any of the other books in the series but will be looking for them now.

The finder of wives

Hadley and Blaise meet in an intriguing way! She is a matchmaker and he needs her help. Pretty soon his egotistical character gets in the way of their business. Hadley is a billionaire and has some great friends who are also billionaires and half of them have found their partners in life. We are treated to a strong story filled with emotion and some interesting twists. I also enjoyed the fact that Blaise stuck to her genuinely pain filled response to his eventual betrayal and stupidity! Enough, no more spoilers.

Beautiful

Was lovely seeing them slowly fall in love, and Blaise realized money wasn’t everything. Hope we hear who wins the bet, looking forward to Wes’s story.

A lovely book

I really enjoyed this book.Whilst you could see what was going to happen, it was well written. Some of it wasn't believable but it was a nice read.
