Worth the Risk

Worth the Risk is the fourth in the Seaside Sisters series. I liked this book better than the rest of them. Frankie and Grayson have a tumultuous relationship because Grayson neglected to tell Frankie he was married when they first met overseas.While their relationship hadn't gone anywhere, Frankie had feelings for Grayson. The author worked Grayson's stepson into the story, which created additional drama.Another short, fast read with more tons of back matter. As with the rest of the books in the series, the ending was rushed.

This is a beautifully written story that features some tough issues. Grayson and Frankie first meet when she first enlisted in the the Marines. Over the years, they keep ending up in the same place and become friends. When Frankie is medically discharged she returns to Carolina Cove where her family now lives. The last time she talked with Grayson was in Kabul and he told her he was married, which is why he pulled away when they almost kissed. Frankie flipped and told him to get lost, not wanting to hear anymore. Married is married. Grayson returns to the States and Frankie volunteered for a sick friend and is badly injured. What’s going to happen when Grayson and Frankie see each other next? No spoilers, so grab your copy and get ready to cheer this two getting a happy ever after.
