What a sweet and wonderfully entertaining book with a perfectly dramatic ending.Christmas always seems to increase everyone’s interest in finding Sara Alani a husband but it always takes so much of the excitement and joy out of the holiday. Now that Sara has kicked her ex to the curb she’s dreading the season, and her mother’s meddling, all over again.After twenty years as a Navy SEAL Kenny Yates has retired and looking forward to the rest of his life as a civilian. With a connection to the Hawaiian Everrett family he is looking forward to seeing old friends and relaxing while he figures out what to do next. Pulling a drunk off of acquaintance Sara Alani at his hotel his first night in town was the last thing he ever expected.As Sara and Kenny reconnect they find they are both being targeted by determined matchmakers. It’s Kenny who has a sudden idea that may give them both some peace during this holiday season.I received an ARC and freely offer this review.

I absolutely loved this story! As is usual with Chris Keniston books, the characters are enjoyable, and their situation believable.

Loved Kenny and Sara’s story. A fake date. Never out of her mother or Maile sight. They are careful of the eyes but fake doesn’t last long.

Fake Dating the SEAL

Kenny is now retired from the military and has gone to Hawaii to hang out with his friends and hopefully decide what he'll do as a civilian. What he wasn't planning on was Sara.....

Sara is single. Even though she doesn't want her mother or Maile fixing her up on dates, somehow, they've taken on the responsibility of doing so.

That combo, takes the reader on a fun fake dating journey!
