Is Zoey too much of a disaster for even TV's hottest handyman to fix?

When Zoey returns home to California to live with her ailing grandmother, she's less than enthusiastic when Nana tries to set her up with Harry, the handyman who's been helping her out around the house for years. But then she discovers Harry the handyman is actually Harrison Beckford, the handsome host of the hottest home renovation show on television.

To Zoey, Harry seems too good to be true. He's got the job, the house, the dog, even two adorable kids who Zoey quickly falls in love with. But as she gets swept up in Harrison's glamorous life, Zoey starts to let go of things that have always mattered to her in the past.

Her career. Her friends.

Soon she starts to wonder: Will fitting into Harrison's life require too much renovation of her own, or will the two of them be able to build something amazing together?

Entertaining addition to the series

Zoey and Harry are likeable protagonists, and their supporting cast of characters- including Zoey's Nana and Harry's kids Hannah and Oliver - are also fun to spend some time with. The writing is good, there are funny moments as well as swoon-worthy moments, but somehow the story didn't quite grip me as much as "Ever After"or "Gentleman" did.Overall, this was an entertaining read, just not my favorite in the series - that title still belongs to "Embracing Her Ever After".

Love it!

I love this story! I liked the main characters. Even though Harry is a celebrity, the author made him approachable. The connection between Harry and Zoey is believable and I was pulled into their love story. I liked reading about Oliver and Hannah. They just sound so adorable and I liked the added complication of children without making them an inconvenience. I also related with Zoey’s struggle to find balance in expectations between career and life goals. I’m think a lot of women can relate. Good story, READ!

Clean short fun romance

A HEA clean and fun romance. Not as much plot or development as her other books, but it's definitely worth a read. It's like a Hallmark romance in a book. I love reading these books before bed. My grown-up version of a bedtime story so I can have good dreams.

Such a fun read!

Another amazing addition to this series! Harry has been one of my favorite male characters in Brenna’s books. He’s so genuine! He’s a single dad working hard to take care of his 2 little girls and also spends time with an elderly woman who was his neighbor growing up. Plus he’s really handsome! Zoey is at a bit of a crossroads in her life after losing her job, so she heads to CA to help her grandmother out. The connection between Harry and Zoey is so natural, but Zoey is a little hesitant. Such a great read and always a happy ending, which I love!!!
