She disappeared from our lives without a word. I never expected to run into her at a Quik Mart in between jobs.

What’s a guy to do when he finds his first crush? Follow her home, of course, and remind her of all the things she’s missing.

I didn’t know that holding onto Riley would involve living in a trailer park.

Or keeping it a secret from my sister—her best friend.

Riley is completely at home with lawn-mower racing, beer-guzzling exhibitionists. She doesn’t think I can handle it. Well, I’m going to show Miss Trailerhood that I’m here to stay—no matter what trailer-park mayhem she puts me through.

Love is patient, love is kind, love means buying a single wide.

Hysterical but heartfelt

I was hooked from the first line, "should I go nude?" I cannot say enough good things about this book. I laughed until I cried when Wren and Macy ran in with a tire iron and a frying pan to save Nate and Riley from the mean ol' mouse. This book is definitely a must read, especially if your in need of a good belly laugh! I can't wait to see more from this author! Keep the laughs coming!

Enjoyable read.

Lovely fun read. Having read the first book I was eager to find out what Riley had happened to Riley. Great to see the supportive and loving life she had created for her sister. Nate is an all round sweetheart.

A great read

This story is cute with a large helping of fun. I loved finding out what happened to Riley, Nola's best friend, and how supportive Nate was in all of her craziness. The humor in this story makes you want to take a better look at your own life through that same lens.

Cute

Nate and RileyLife in the trailer park is quite the adventure! Nate comes across Riley by chance after she'd gone missing two years ago. He follows her home to find she's now living in a trailer park not far from where they lived growing up. She was his sister's best friend and his crush. There's no way he's losing her again so he moves into the park. The fun begins from there. Enjoyable characters. Nice story line.

No character development. Errors in the book.

Better than the first book in the series, but as the same with the first book, continuity errors. This one had MORE errors than the first one and there were a few spots where I had to go back and re-read to make sure I wasn't mis-remembering. It seems she changed things from the first book to the second just so it fit the story line better and there were spots in this book that weren't consistent either. I liked the setting, but again, everything seemed surface level with these characters. There was just no character development and I wasn't invested. The book felt like it went in a way that was required to get to the endpoint, not because it was a natural progression.SPOILER:She left for TWO OR THREE (continuity error there) YEARS because "it was better to leave them first before they left her" (which is not what was said in the first book), but then Nate comes back in her life and she's just like, meh. Forget all my childhood trauma, I'm all in? and that was it? Illogical.
