A condemned apartment building means I’m stuck sleeping in my car. My carefully planned future—gone.

It’s just bad business to admit to being homeless when you’re the top selling real estate agent in the county. So when a fellow evictee, Nola, comes up with a solution to my homeless situation, I take her up on her offer.

An empty house with a gorgeous roommate? Sign me up.

I didn’t know that staying at her friend’s house would lead to us pretending to be married. I didn’t know I would get elected to be president of an HOA I have no business being a part of.

And I’m beginning to suspect my beautiful, devious, fake wife isn’t telling me everything.

What happens when we get another roommate, and our deception moves to the next level?

Nola is the whirlwind I didn’t want in my life—but she just might be exactly what I need.

Cute fake dating/fake marriage story

Cute fake dating/fake marriage storyI love Bane. He’s trustworthy and respectful. And he has real integrity with money! Nola is a fun, quirky FMC

A Real Estate Problem Love Story

Finding appropriate housing can be extremely frustrating! Throw in a few secrets between tenants united against unfair business practices and things get out of hand! Add in social and personal misunderstandings, and things get really interesting! A bit of innocent deception employed here and there eventually comes to light with poingnant overtones. Overall, a delightful read! (If you have any experience with a home owners’ association, you’ll especially appreciate the “rule” at the beginning of each chapter!).

Light on heart and Big on emotion

I loved reading this book. Chick lit has always been my favorite kind of movie so having it in a book is much sweeter.Nola and Bane are such sweetheart. The best part is that there are no major dramatics going on. They connected like rational human beings and despite the initial miscommunication were very forthcoming at solving matters. As I said, this book makes for a comfort read on a soft sun weekend

A great read

This has to be one of the funniest books I’ve read in some time, with quite a few laugh out loud moments. Not great when my partner is trying to sleep! I loved the characters and the witty dialogue throughout the story, which had a feel good ending. I’ll definitely buy more books from this author.
