Mia Thompson threw herself into work after she caught her fiance cheating with his secretary. Her dad chose the liar to lead his multi-million dollar company rather than her. Making a name for herself became a must. She had no time for games which is why she hardly even noticed her playboy co-worker, Isaac. That is until she was forced to go on assignment with him-to her father's Valentine's bash of all places.

Isaac quickly uncovers her situation and declares himself as her biggest supporter. In the process she realizes that he is more than the playboy he portrays himself as, and she forgets to act like the prim, focused woman he knows her as at work.

Excellent read! Enemies to friends story. The thing I loved about this story is the the female is a strong personality without being completely overwhelming. She stands up for what she believes in and yet can come up with a compromise when needed.

Nice little story

Miscommunication/lack of communication is one trope I don’t like. I knocked off a star because as a source of conflict, communication issues have been overdone.I’m not clear on what Mia and Isaac’s Company actually does. Is it a marketing firm? “Productions” are referenced frequently but without explanation.There were a bunch of spelling and tense errors in this book. Like the others in this series, it needs to be proofed.

I have read series by lots of talented authors before, but Danae hits it out of the park every time!!! I just devour everything she writes and have even enjoyed reading several of her books a second time,,,,they are just that amazing!

Cute and sweet

I read books in this genre mostly because they are entertaining bits of escapist fluff. This one turned out to be higher quality fluff, still the light read I was hoping for, but better than I expected.

Fantastic Book!

Mia was hurt terribly by her fiance'. Trust is her number one hindrance. When she has to work with Isaac, her playboy co-worker, she doubts everything concerning him. Very interesting story.
