I was very excited to see Victorine Lieske had another book out! She writes quick reads that are full of swoony moments and I am here for all of it.If you like second chances, high school friends to more, celebrity trope and sweet vacation romances with no language or explicit content, this should be on your radar!

This was an absolutely wonderful romance! I love how their friendship morphed into more. I love how honest Colton was with Remi and how he defended Liz. Worth the read!I listened to this on YouTube.

Cute, light sweet romance

Romance, sweet, contemporary; series but stand alone readRemi and Colton’s story was a second chance romance for friends. Remi had lived Colton for years. Colton thought of Remi as a friend. Remi took a chance to reconnect with him when her sister found out she would be at a resort she had reservations a for. They went, reconnected as friends, and built something much sweeter. Lovely sweet fall. Cute light romance.

Fun best friends to more romance

If you're looking for a fun beach read look no further. This is a slow burn best friends to more romance that takes place in the tropics--the perfect escape from the humdrum of everyday life.

It takes Remi cancelling her wedding--in her dress, at the chapel, running down the aisle--for her to realize she wasn't in love with Tavon, she's in love with her high school best friend Colton Drake. Is it fate that he's going to the same resort Remi had planned to go on her honeymoon? What will she do if she runs into him?

Oh my goodness!! Remi and Colton! Their first meeting after not seeing each other for several years is the best!! Poor Remi, I was embarrassed for her but boy did I laugh. I loved watching these two connect again--I can understand why Remi was scared to let Colton know how she felt because they were such great friends. On the other hand I wanted to shake Colton a time or two to get him to open his eyes and really see Remi as more than a friend to hang out with. It took him a little while but he finally got there.

I loved how much Remi loved hot chocolate (even in summer) and agree "sometimes hot chocolate was needed". I liked how "normal" Colton was considering he had made it big in Hollywood and I really liked that he liked Remi for who she was.

This is a sweet romance with just kisses. I received a complimentary copy, all thoughts and opinions in this review are my own.
