Going on a road trip with my kind-of boss is not how I expected my Thanksgiving to go.

But when my mom says she’s divorcing my dad and selling my childhood home, I’ll take whatever support I can get.

And Brad is more than supportive, he’s kind, gentle, and well…totally hot.

All of which has led to me developing a tiny crush on him.

In the wake of my parent’s divorce though, I don’t know how to feel about relationships in general, much less one with my older coworker.

But Brad is breaking down my reservations, making me want to quit overthinking and cozy up to him for the rest of the holidays.

Out of Office is a forced proximity, coworkers to lovers romcom that will leave you giggling and swooning. It has all the sizzling chemistry you love, without any of the explicit scenes. Check out this bonus novella in the Sweet Peach Series, a standalone series based around best friends in Georgia.

Super cute!

3.5 ⭐️Ahh, I’m so happy we get to see Brad & Zara together!!Is it short & quick? Yes. But also sweet & adorable. It is a bit more attraction based than the first book (The Love Audit), but it’s still super cute.

Changes-bad and good...

A short but sweet office romance book that is refreshingly different. Enter co-workers who are about eight years apart in age, but on the same wavelength. In the beginning I thought it was odd that Zara was so fixated on age difference (which usually isn't an issue past the teenage years) and the fact that Brad was her immediate superior at work. Then as the story developed I discovered blue haired and feisty Zara wasn't a rule breaker or as blazé as appearances suggested, and a tiny bit unconfident. The final realization was when she fell apart at family news. Brad wasn't fixated on age differences, just wanting to get to know Zara on a personal level and a tiny bit unsure of himself. I loved the way the author teased readers as the relationship was explored.Other than the two main characters, we really don't get much relationship development between anyone and Brad and Zara. Even family ties at a stressful time are very limited. But that technique worked to focus on and enjoy the developing romance. This was the first book I read by the author, and now I am going to read the rest of the "Sweet Peach Series" for sure. Well written sweet romance. This review was for the recently released e-book copy of Out of Office.

Short and sweet!

This was a super cute read. I love the short length of the book. I was able to read it as an after breakfast reading break. It took less than an hour cover to cover. Perfect length book to read during a break from work or to relax before bed. This is an age gap and boss & employee trope love story. Brad had an easy breezy way about him that does make you feel comfortable. I loved how he just laid it all out on the line and put the ball in her court. He was there for her when she needed someone most. Loved his grand gesture at the end. Obviously he was my fav of the book. This is kind of a 1.5 in series of books. Turns out I’ve read the 2nd book in this series and checked out the first one on KU a while ago but still haven’t gotten around to reading it. I didn’t feel lost at all in details that happened in the book before this one.Rating: G, clean, wholesome, fun read

This book left me wanting more in the best way!

Brad and Zara are one of my favorite book couples of all time. They’re both so sweet and attentive to eachother. But their flirty encounters and play ful joking were top notch 😍 I loved how this book is a novella but had a huge impact on me in such a short time frame. It’s also based around a road trip to the beach which I adored! I wanted a full length novel for sure!
