I can’t believe my best friend wants to be my fake boyfriend…

My long-term boyfriend just broke up with me, and I swore off men for the new year because of it.

So, when I need a date to appease my mother during her southern society events, I’m forced to look into boyfriends of the fake variety.

Bennett is quick to jump to the task. And the more time we spend together, the more I realize why I had a crush on him years ago…

But if I’m breaking my man ban, I want it to be for the real thing. The kind of forever I don’t know that Bennett can give me. His girlfriends don’t last long if you can even call them girlfriends.

Risking our friendship is one thing, but risking my heart? I don’t know if I can do that.

The First Taste is a friends-to-lovers, fake dating romcom for fans of Sarah Adams and Emma St. Clair. It has all the sizzling chemistry you love, without any explicit scenes. Check out this third book in the Sweet Peach Series, a four-book standalone series based around best friends in Georgia.

So adorable!

Sophie & Bennett are adorable, and the friendship dynamics continue to completely warm my heart! 🥲It’s a beautiful story of learning that love isn’t a transaction, but an act from the heart without ulterior motive or score keeping. Again Annah has nailed a story with such heart while being sweet & comedic! While my personal preference is less physical attraction, I appreciate that it is still tastefully done. Also, I already love Coach Bash & I can’t wait to see him with MJ!

I don’t know if I can do that. This book . . . oh my goodness I absolutely loved this book. I’ve always been a fan of best friends to lovers, but to throw in fake dating just made it so much better.I have been very excited to read this book and it definitely lived up to my expectations. There were so many great moments in this book. I loved how excited Bennett’s family was over them dating. I loved that it wasn’t a case of both characters pining for each other over the years. And one of my favourite characters was Sylvie. This is the third book in the series and though it can be read as a standalone I am sure you will enjoy it more if you read the rest of the series. I loved this book and I can already not wait for MJ’s book.

Loved it!

I had been eagerly looking forward to Sophie and Bennett‘s story, so I read this as soon as it released. And it was exactly what I was hoping it would be!Friends to more is a trope I enjoy when it’s done well, but I realized lately that I’m a little more picky with this trope and how it’s written than I used to be. Which is hilarious to me, because my story with my husband would be a friends to more romance. 😂 I loved the friends to more romance in this book though! It was so sweet to see how well Sophie and Ben knew each other, and I enjoyed when they would reminisce and remind each other of old memories. Their romance is beautifully written, and I was here for it! 😍I loved how supportive Ben is of Sophie. This book also has themes of learning what love is, and I felt for Sophie as she went through some difficult moments in this story. Her character arc is well written, and I appreciated the deeper themes of the book.Really, this book is a great blend of lots of things! I laughed so many times, and I swooned over the romance as well. I loved every moment of reading about Sophie and Bennett, and now I am eagerly looking forward to the next book in the series!

Fake dating is one of the elite tropes and this book does it so well! I love how supportive these two are of each other. Bennett is beyond adorable! The way he pampers her is top notch! And the way he protects her…perfection! Sophie is just as sweet and her journey of accepting love is so well done. This was such a great book.Recommended Reading Age: 12 yrs +No Spice (Just Kisses)No Explicit Language UseG Rated Violence/Gore⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ such a cute story

sweet story

I really liked Bennett and Sophie. How they worked through their issues and learned to really see each other.I would have given 4 stars except for too many typos, errors and wrong words in sentences
