Faerie itself is on the brink of destruction.

Alone and frightened, Elora must return to Bitter Thorn to share news of Queen Alessandra’s most recent victory. But the realm is crumbling before her eyes. Frost covers surfaces it should not. Defensive enchantments are not as strong as they should be.

Everyone in Faerie is falling prey to the Fairfrost queen’s manipulation.

Though Elora’s magic sometimes works, she still has no idea how or why. At every turn, Ansel impedes their progress and feeds the fear they can’t escape. Fairfrost Palace is now heavily guarded, which makes it nearly impossible for them to face Queen Alessandra.

To restore Prince Brannick to his rightful place as High King, Elora must learn to trust herself.

It might be easier if her victories would last. It might be easier if she lived.

The last piece of the puzzle

part 4 is the last part that rounds off the fun series.but I have to say that the end was a bit messy. I don't give spoilers but was a bit disappointed. but the whole story (1,2,3&4) is super exciting!

Fae of Bitter Thorn Book 4-(Queen of BT)

This book is mostly gripping and was usually pretty fast paced. Elora continues her search to help faerie- to help the realm and its people whom she fell in love with.We learn much more about how fae magic works and the limitations to it. And how the limitations don’t necessarily work against Elora and her friends. But we also learn that it pays to double check your work so you won’t regret leaving too quickly and thus endangering everything you worked for and tried to do.I only give it four stars because I think the last battle and what follows defy normal reactions, behavior and logic too much to explain it away with differences between faerie and the mortal realm. Unfortunately I cannot be more specific without spoilers. Overall this book is interesting and I recommend it to everyone who loves anything fae.The series is definitely PG and meant for teenagers and very young adults.

Pick this series up!!

I came across the court of bitter thorn by chance scrolling through goodreads and I'm so happy I did! This is an amazing series and I don't understand how it's not heard of more, the writing is so atmospheric and cosy you really would want to live in this faerie realm! I don't want to spoil it, but I couldn't put these books down and this last book was just done perfectly to end this amazing series!
