Editorial Reviews

"Wonderful, well-crafted characters come alive in this engaging series...well written and will keep readers turning the pages." -Library Journal

"A magical wand and a magnificent imagination are the only ways in which an author like Elizabeth Johns could create such an enticing romance, with beautifully poetic writing that sweeps readers directly into this love story full of dramatic plot twists and enviable true love."—InD'Taled Magazine

"The storyline is the best part. Readers are constantly shot with spikes of adrenaline and anticipation, wondering what will happen next in this twisted conflict of catching the bad guys. Ms. Johns magically creates one of the best Victorian novels ever seen."—InD'Taled Magazine

"If you're a fan of Jane Austen novels, you will fall in love with Duke of Knight. Author Elizabeth Johns' historical fiction romance/drama is filled with wit, humor, and heart. The narrative flows smoothly, and the plot has its share of twists to keep you glued to the pages. The characters are well-realized with lively personalities to make them pop out of the pages."—Readers' Favorite

Good one, but more might be too much.

Perfect for when you just don't want a series to end. But could possibly make the series drag on if the sequels keep coming.

Henrietta and Luca!s story ... Verified purchase

A wonderful story by Elizabeth Johns , about my favorite character in the series The dowager Duchess of Loring , who once put her family's happiness before her own . This is a beautifully written short story. It is about a second chance if only The Duchess makes the right choice this time.

The finishing touch

This sweet little novella would have a hard time standing on its own because it refers to so many various characters from all five books. But it's a lovely story and ties the entire package with a shiny bow. Nicely done!

A delightful Recency romance with problems, and love.

This book is about Henrietta, the Dowager Duchess of Loring and Luca, the Compt delightful Salerno. They had been engaged years earlier, but Henrietta felt her family needed her more at that time. When she is traveling with Andrew and Gwen on their honeymoon to Italy, she meets Luca again. This is a wonderful love story and a fitting end to this series. I highly recommend it.
