OMG I haven't laughed that much in a while but loved every page of this book. Very well written and I hated it was sad in some places but it deffinantly was part of this amazing story! 💕

Really enjoyed this story. I'd give it a 4.5. It wasn't quit as good as the first, but still really good. I didn't quite fall in love with the characters as much. Shelby is a small town girl, full of life, but weighed down with problems. Jake is a billionaire land developer, great guy, but a little insecure. He broke down in the town he is trying to set up a development deal in. The small town wants to stay small town and don't like the idea of change.

Author needs to research.

Daddy steps on a mine and looses leg in Afghanistan. Daddy also suffers from a TBI. These two combined should be 60% disability or better. VA would be supplying the meds and possibly in home health.

Sassy heroine, lovable hero, a love you root for from the gate.

This book takes you on a trip to a small town in East Texas. Like all Emma St. Clair books, the characters are so engaging. You'll love the unexpected moments in this book and the ease with which the story flows. Once again, I stayed up too late not wanting to put this book down. If you want a quick read that gives you that hopeful, feel-good afterglow. This one is it. Great to take on a weekend away or just curl up with at home as a sweet escape.

The Billionaire Land Baron is the second book in The Billionaire Surprise Series. It is written by Emma St. Clair who is a Christian author. This is an excellent book. I really enjoyed reading it. I found the main characters likeable. In fact, I wouldn't mind having Jake as a friend[or more]. Jake's biggest fault is he loves his car, Layla. He's out driving around and she lets him down. So Jake is stuck in a small east Texas town with nowhere to go. So the story begins. The book is easy to get into and is around 250 pages long. I read the book in one day, because I wanted to see where the story went. I think that any romance reader or chick-lit reader would enjoy The Billionaire Land Baron.
