These four words change EVERYTHING.

The moment billionaire Beckett Van de Kamp meets his daughter, Becka, love blows him over with the force of a hurricane.

But is he willing to let a child into his orderly--and solitary--life?

Especially when it comes to Becka’s primary caregiver, her aunt Madi. Stubborn and fiercely loyal, she isn’t like any woman he’s ever met.

Soon, both Becka and Madi are breaking down the firm barriers Beckett had in his life--and around his heart.

Can they have a future despite the issues from his past?

Will the one secret he kept be too much for Madi to forgive?

Good

A story with enough ups and downs to keep you interested, as you wait to find out whether these two characters will grow past their past (and tendencies) to commit yo each other and make a 'family' in the end. Loved the faith aspects, clear and real enough to be impacting. A good read.

Madi and Beckett

- How fun to feature a Dutch family with all their directness. I relate.- Christian references always make a book better- "Stil worden" is not necessarily something a Dutch person would say, but I got the point. Beckett and Graham are not Dutch names, but that's all good. We live in an international world.- Grief is a big theme in this book, but it is obviously not a subject the author is familiar with. Which is good. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.- All in all a great book to escape in for a while. Thank you, Emma St. Clair!

A sweet read with many twists

This was a great story, full of fun and mayhem and sadness. But with a mixture of twists some you may see coming others you won’t. Loved it, can’t wait to read more of her books

Another page-turner by Emma St. Claire

I’ve read all the Billionaire books by Emma St. Claire. I’m not a typical reader of clean romance. I read her Sandover books and loved the way she develops characters and settings. Even though we go into these stories knowing boy will get girl and girl will get boy, Ms St. Claire doesn’t take you the obvious road. Her books have unexpected turns of events, dashes of humor, and enough suspense to keep each book a page-turner. I still don’t read much clean romance. When a new Emma St. Claire book comes out, I set aside three hours or so to read it - as a sweet indulgence. This story was by far the most tender of all her Billionaire books because of the child in the story and the poignancy of grief and loss that weaves through the lives of the two main characters. I love that the Christians in this story are real, imperfect, and grace-filled. The leasing man, Beckett, has a past that haunts him and practices his faith nominally. So many important themes are touched on in ways that don’t bog down the story, but serve to make it more relatable and realistic than many books in this genre tend to be.If you are looking for a light, escapist read with well-developed characters and a plot that hooks you and carries you along, I highly recommend The Billionaire’s Secret Heir. Just don’t start reading after 9pm unless you want dark circles the next day!
