Wizards and Dragons, oh my!

The saga continues as Liam tries to figure out who is trying to kill Isa and trying to make himself seal to her. Ruby and Damon seem to be getting close to a true relationship, but Ruby hates her dragon form too much to let it happen. "This mark was forever."Sid is still trying to keep his dragons from going to war while at the same time rescue the children that Jens has stolen. And, Grace is still hiding her true heritage while trying to protect those she loves. "Magic was the stuff of nightmares."This series of short stories about the next generation of dragons just keeps getting better and better. Every time you think you know what is going to happen next, the author throws another curveball at you! The story is fast paced, full of budding romance, intrigue and danger at every turn. Keep 'em coming, please!

THINGS ARE GETTING HOTTER!

In Book 9 of the Dragon King Chronicles by Kimberly Loth, the bad guys start to get more invasive. Another attempt is made on Isa's life. Isa & Liam find proof of the existence of wizards. Across the pond, the search for the kidnapped dragon children continues. Romantically speaking, Liam & Isa take a big step forward, Damon & Ruby take a step back, & Grace & Jude are just plain blissful. All in all, life continues to be full of drama. Ms. Loth handles these interweaving plotlines with deft skill. Can't wait for the next one. Recommended.

Lots Packed In

The 9th installment of The Dragon Kings Chronicles by Kimberly Loth has a lot packed into it and you’re not going to want to miss it. Book 9 picks up where book 8 left off and speeds ahead into trouble. War is creeping closer, the babies are still missing, and Liam is trying so hard to bond with Isa. But there are some unexpected situations heading these characters ways and some aren’t prepared and are looking to fight their way out of it.I honestly ended up with mixed feelings about Ruby with this book. I get that she’s confused about quite a few things and doesn’t want to be a dragon for a variety of reasons, but I can’t help but begin to view her as a spoiled brat. In this book especially she develops her own agenda and it seems that she has no qualms hurting however many people she has to get to it. Reminds me a bit of Jens with his tunnelminded views and actions. Is it wrong to say that I hope that some serious complications come up for them both? LOL!I like that there is FINALLY some progress with Liam and Isa. It made me so happy. But I absolutely devoured this book when things start to get sticky. Something sinister is going on and I have my suspicions as to who is behind it. I’m just curious now to see if I’m right or if the author is going to throw out a red herring. This book has quite a few enjoyable moments, but I’m going to rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars. I was a bit disappointed with Sid and Aspen this time around. I wanted them to be a bit firmer with her and it just seems that they are being a bit too laid back. I’m eager to find out what happens next because things are really starting to build all around.
