Getting it wrong!

Isa had lost it and reacted poorly to Liam’s confession. What to do? Time was running and Isa’s was feeling regret, alone and confused. News didn’t wait and hit hard in America. Sid and his dragons were devastated. War was around the corner. But something mysterious happened and against the clock, would Isa have a chance to right her impulsiveness? Every time I’m more and more intrigued. Who to blame? What’s the mystery with the guards? Much suspense! Voluntarily reviewed this copy that I liked.

Is It Really True?

Prince Liam has suffered a terrible act, & his friends & family who are stateside have been informed that he's actually dead. Book 11 of the Dragon King Chronicles reverberates with this. Liam had decided to come clean with Isa, so that there would be no more secrets between them, & they could just bask in their love. But upon hearing the truth, Isa's temper explodes & she loses control. A hidden observer witnesses her explosion & informs Obsidian & Aspen of Liam's apparent demise. In the aftermath, Obsidian, Aspen, & Liam's friends & family must cope with his supposed death & decide their response to this heinous act. Is war the inevitable result? Loth weaves these black strands into her story with masterful skill. Can't imagine what's going to happen next, & can't wait for the next book.

Get ready with your tissues!

This series is starting to really move fast! Liam and Isa's relationship is rocky (to say the least!), Grace is still trying to hide her wizard status, and Ruby continues to be a royal b@*#h to Damon.Without spoiling the book for anyone, it is full of emotion. Loads of heavy sadness, fear, tension, and angst. The storyline is definitely geared toward a YA audience, but as an adult who is far from YA, I am enjoying it a lot. This book leads Sid and his dragons closer to war. It will be interesting to see if war can be avoided or if more dragons will die. I still haven't figured out who in the vast cast of characters can be trusted and who is behind all of the problems. I enjoy this little bit of mystery added to rest of the story.

good

Okay... so I don't understand Isa... she's like a flag on the wind - one time she goes with one idea, and the very next minute she goes in a totally opposite direction with her mind! What is going on there? The tattoos that are made on the characters' bodies were supposedly for life... but now I'm not so sure as everything changes so fast that it sometimes makes my head spin with all the info! A lot is going on nd trust me - you will want to read it all in one sit!

Brings the feels

The Dragon Kings Chronicles continues with book eleven and the author, Kimberly Loth, is really going to bring the feels with this installment. Book ten ended with Liam’s death, and Isa determined to not bring him back because of his “betrayal.” Things are only getting more complicated as the news of Liam’s death reaches home and Isa finds herself in sticky situations due to her choices.I enjoyed this book, but at the same time, I couldn’t help feeling annoyed with the immaturity of several of the characters. The bigger picture demands it, but it’s still annoying to see them acting like brats. LOL! Isa is refusing to see reason, Ruby is acting like a selfish brat (being a teenager is no excuse, sorry not sorry). This book ends more on a somber note, but the future isn’t looking good for these characters. I’m curious to see what happens next. I’m rating this installment 4.5 out of 5 stars. This one loses half a star because of the brattiness of the characters. I hate being mostly disappointed in the female characters, but that’s just how the cookie crumbles this time. On to the next!
