Eager for More

The Dragon Kings Chronicles is Kimberly Loth’s latest installment in her Dragon Kings Chronicles serial. Book 7 picks up where book 6 left off with Liam finding himself in the dog house with Isa. Where she’s falling in love with him and now bears the mark, Liam’s lie has been exposed. Now, the question is...can he fix things with her? But he’s not the only one facing issues and things are about to get chaotic for everyone.Book 7 of this series has a lot going on for it at this point. There are a lot of romantic angles to keep up with with the various characters, and it’s interesting to follow along. It does get a bit frustrating at times because just as things are getting good with one set of characters, the author shifts things to another set. Of course, it drives me to read faster so that I can try to get back to those characters or find that I have to wait until the next book. LOL!Things really do get complicated in this book though. Danger is creeping in for both Isa and Sid. Secrets are being exposed and power plays are being made, but in manipulative ways. These monarchs are really going to have to keep their eyes peeled before someone manages to get the best of them.I am rating this installment 5 out of 5 stars. There are some elements that I’m not fully understanding at this point, but I’m sure that the author will bring everything full circle soon enough. If you have enjoyed the series to this point then I encourage you to continue with book 7 and prepare yourself for what’s to come in book 8 from what the author hints at at the end.

You are just not pure enough

Ugh...here we go. Shades of humanities issues rears it’s ugly face! Purists who believe they are superior and no one else can do what they do. A mixed heritage is viewed as lesser. Violence is threatened and the ruling entity still wants a peaceful solution. Meanwhile, research to solve a crisis of course isn’t panning out in the urgent manner we hope for. Let’s be clear, this tale is about dragons, yet the parallels keep staring at me. It’s easy to read and suitable for YA or NA simply for its suggestive areas. Hoping book8 draws me back to the escape for world issues. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

Honestly, I want more Dragon Kings! So many fascinating characters in an amazing world with dragons. I am hoping for more and more character development and maybe spinoffs. Basically, MORE!

Cat and mouse!

Ack! Another shocker at the end of this book. The author is SO good at this. This book seven was kind of a cat and mouse thing; back and forth, up and down. Talk about an emotional roller coaster! Just gotta read the next one to see what happens!
