Attention Holding and Twisted

Isa is still partially dislikeable. She isn't a nice person and is selfish. The book is full of SURPRISES. Ruby has some self revelations. The chapter before last was a cliffhanger. We see more of Ruby's dynamic with her folks. The final chapter left the book/novella open for the next installment and revealed a major twist.Overall, well written and it held my attention.I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review. My review is my own thoughts and opinion; my experience in reading this story.

A great episode.

A great episode. With the exceptionally large cast of characters with separate plot lines, it's a bit of a chore to keep up with everything. But it reads smoothly and ends on a positive note. I wish that more of the preceding episodes had done that. There's obviously a lot more to go in the story and I look forward to learning what happens next.Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Twisted. Unpredictable. Wonderful characters.I received a review copy of this book from a third party. This is my honest review.

Another twist?

Grace continues to fear the repercussions against her and does not seem willing to expose herself even with the threat of a sinister wizard taking control. In America the enemies seem to have the upper hand, but there are still hidden forces moving their chips and when a problem of years seemed to be about to be solved, an unexpected turn, leaves us intrigued. There was not much action in the plot of this chapter but certainly the cliffhanger was unexpected. What could this mean to Sid?

The tension builds!

The saga continues as Grace mourns Jude's death and tries to decide if she should tell Isa the truth about herself. Isa and Liam continue to try to come to terms with their feelings for each other while keeping Isa safe from the Wizard who appears to be controlling her Guardians.Meanwhile, Sid and his dragons are gearing up for war against the evil queen (but is she really evil?) while protecting the dragon babies. Ruby just wants to be a normal teenage girl and Damon wants to be a dragon. Nobody seems to be satisfied with what they have and who they are! This was another great installment in the continuing sage of the next generation of Dragons. Full of emotion, tension and surprises, I can't wait to see what happens next!

Pepper anyone?

I like how these books pick up right where they left off. I don't need a recap of the last book in every book. This was a fun walk-to-a-run book. Here's some things that got me ramped up to read the next book in the series: Isa finally stopped being ridiculous to Liam and they're working together to stop the evil wizard. Grace is finally on her way to find out what she was destined to do, but has to reveal herself to Isa to do it. It remains to be seen if Damon and Ruby can find their way back to each other. And EEK! I can't spoil the book for you, but there is a big surprise with Pepper that I did not see coming. Hold on because this roller coaster is just now going up the hill!! Good job to the author because I'm definitely on the edge of my seat and hungry for the next book in the series!
