Things are heating up at the castle and at home.

Pierre is dead and who can Isa trust? She's not sure if any of them but she's trying to get Drew to step up.So many things can go wrong with Isa and Liam and also at home with Sid and Aspen handling the rebels at home.I voluntarily reviewed this ARC book.

TDKC#17 is definitely a transition book. Still very good and has some of the characters getting closer to each other. A few twists and shockers and and hoping the good guys will triumph over the evil ones soon. I gotta say, I don't think Drew should be trusted. I'm hoping Maya helps the good dragons to save the mountain babies. On to the next book for more answers on who is behind all the deceit.

A good interlude.

A good interlude. Ruby and Grace have returned to being characters that I enjoy. Damon is on the fence and could go either way. I find Bartleby and Drew to be rather suspicious. Even though this is only a story, I abhor that the rebels are plotting to kill children. That should never be used in stories. And I hope that the rebels are destroyed before it happens. I like how the relationships are working out for Grace, Isa, and Liam. But, overall, nothing much occurred in this episode.Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Haunting. Twisted. Wonderful characters.I received a review copy of this book from a third party. This is my honest review.

Intrigued

Damon got his dream, but things were not for better with Ruby. In Europe secrets were shared and more suspicions aroused. Who to trust? Seems the war is around the corner. I’m so intrigued. Voluntarily reviewed this copy.

Book 17

Isa is trying to deal with the fact that her best friend is really a Wizard! Why had Grace kept this a secret all these years? Did she not trust Isa? As for Grace, she had been terrified of Isa's reaction to her secret.Liam is just trying to keep Isa safe while planning on how to kill the wizard controling the Guardians. "He was tired of all the politics." Meanwhile, back in the USA, Sid and his dragons are plotting their attack on Isa's kingdom and Jen and his rebels are planning their counterattack against Sid. So much going on!This book is full of intrigue, plans, plots, attacks and counterattacks. Also, Damon and Ruby continue to dance around their budding romance and status as a couple. It's a good thing that the author is getting these novellas released quickly because I don't wait to see what happens next!
