That is the full 6. Books read. I could not recommend them more highly. Brilliantly story lines and absolutely sexy males. Could not wish for more in a book.

Another winner for Jane!

I love this series! Love the characters the author has created. This one was no exception. Jet and Shane were a perfect match. Although Jet was recovering from a broken heart, it was Shane who had some major issues going on. Having discovered he truly is a Sheenan through DNA testing, he comes to Marietta under the guise of writing a book about a massacre that took place there years ago. Five members of the same family were murdered. A family that has ties to the Sheenans. As a result, none of the Sheenans want Shane around, believing he's only going to exploit their tragedy for money. So he comes up with the idea of getting close to Jet whose sister Harley just happens to be married to Brock Sheenan. What he doesn't count on is falling for her. All he wants is the truth about his past. Why was he raised by his grandmother? Why did his mother lie when she promised to come back for him then never did? Why does he have memories of her visiting and bringing her other children with her, only to leave him behind repeatedly? And how in the world is he going to get answers to these questions without hurting Jet in the process? The Sheenans have already made it clear they don't want him hanging around her. This was a wonderfully sweet love story with a touch of mystery thrown in. The small town setting meant revisiting characters from the previous books and provided a good backdrop for any future books that might take place there. I loved the romance between Shane and Jet, the way Shane insisted they take their time while getting to know one another. The author's descriptions of each scene made it seem as though you were in the room with them, feeling what they were feeling at the time. I also liked the interaction between Shane and his siblings. One minute they wanted to pound him into the ground, the next they were welcoming him to the family. Just an all around feel good story that only whet my appetite for more.

More Sheenan family secrets revealed and others alluded to.

Shane has come to Married a under false pretenses. He came to write the book about the Douglas family murder, but really wanted to live in the house that he should have lived in. After he has lived in the Sheenan ranch house for almost a year he meets Jet, Harley's sister. Once the Sheenan's find out that he is writing a book about Mckenna's family tragedy they go bullastic and pressure Jet not to see him anymore forcing her to pick a side. She sticks with Shane and kinda helps him get more information for his book. When he finally decides to tell the brothers who he really is all but Brock are sure he is lying, but Brock can see and remembers him from when they were little and seeing him up at the lake. He even helped their mom when he was I high school research and look for him. Will the rest of the family come around lime Brock did? What other secrets did he allude to? Will he finish his book and share his opinion on who the murderer was?

Amazing 5 Star read!"The Lost Sheenan's Bride," Taming of the Sheenans Book six.Jet and Shane's story. This can be read as a standalone however I recommend that you read all the books in the series. It will make this novel an even better read. I have been so in love with this series and we're now on book six, sadly the last in the Sheenan's series. However, Jane Porter has teased with a spinoff which I will impatiently wait for. Here we have the story of Jet and Shane. Jet is the younger sister to Harley, who is married to the eldest Sheenan brother, Brock. (Brock's is a Christmas story and the first in the series) Harley invites Jet to Marietta, Montana and gets Jet a teaching job. Jet accepts the teaching position and looks forward to a change in scenery. She is currently getting over a broken heart so she is looking forward to the change. The last thing Jet expects is to be intrigued by Shane, a man who just so happens to have alienated her inlaws, the Sheenan brothers. But Jet sees something behind Shane's eyes that reveals a deep sadness. She believes he is not the bad guy her brothers-in-law claim him to be. Jet is smart and perceptive so she can see that Shane has secrets. But does that make him a bad guy?Shane Swan, a successful author, came to Montana several months prior to work on his latest novel and he is currently renting the house on the Sheenan ranch. Everything is fine until Cormac Sheenan (Cormac's book is also a Christmas theme and is book five in the series) finds something about Shane and the novel he is writing that he does not like or approve of. The Sheenans become angry and want Shane gone. In addition to that, they want Jet to stay away from him as well. Jet doesn't like being told what to do but she is concerned about family loyalty. What should she do?I was pleased that Jet listened to her heart. She was careful when spending time with Shane even though she really liked him. Shane adored Jet and didn't want to cause problems for her with her family but he needed answers and he refused to leave. Things become a little tense and angsty and there is a small element of suspense going on as well. I don't want to spoil anything so I won't say anything else about that. However I will say that I was impatient and anxious to see how this story ended. I tried to guess but I wasn't sure. Because of that, this was a page-turner for me. That being said, this was a beautiful story of trust and love and a HEA for everyone involved! I look forward to the spinoff featuring the Douglas family.
