She’s been a proper princess... but she wants to rebel against a loveless marriage.

After the tragic death of her fiancé, Princess Madeleine is resigned to her fate of a loveless, arranged marriage. That is, until she actually meets her intended husband. Crown Prince Enrique is undeniably gorgeous, but he comes on way too strong, constantly says the wrong things, and fumbles his apologies. To Madeleine, he feels more like a court jester than Prince Charming, making her wonder how she can possibly go through with the wedding.

Enrique might be self-centered and lack social skills, but he is genuinely trying to do better for himself, his country, and his future wife. Even though their royal union is a strict political necessity, Enrique is determined to make his marriage to the captivating Madeleine a true love match. He's willing to do whatever it takes to woo her, but he quickly discovers that winning his princess bride's guarded heart is nearly impossible.

With Madeleine seemingly unwilling—or unable—to risk her heart again, the emotional stakes couldn't be higher. When their wedding day finally arrives, will the royal couple exchange vows of true love, or will they say goodbye forever?

Loved the book

Melissa is such a good writer and weaves a compelling story. Her stories are always written so tastefully, which is something hard to find these days. I am starting another of her books right away. That will be the fourth book from this author. Keep writing Melissa!

Enjoyed it!

Loved the friendship and respect to start the marriage and they had that. Loved the characters . Well written, thank you.

I adored Enrique

The journey these characters had to love each other was charming, real, heart warming, and so touching. I don't know if the author intended to write her hero as someone possibly on the Autism Spectrum, but he felt that way to *this* Autism Mom, anyway. And Madeleine's struggle to accept her duty, to do her very best, and then to come to like and appreciate her fiance were all beautifully handled. The epilogue concluded the series with a full cast and a happy place. Great story!

Her Royal Duty #3

This is the third book in the series. We got to know Enrique in the previous book with his brother. I'm glad he gets his story and a HEA. Though it's not an easy road to the end, but it's one that is so worth it. Madeleine breaks your heart with her backstory so I was rooting for her to get a HEA she deserves. Enrique is going to surprise her in a good way. The things that she heard about him are not very flattering and their first meeting didn't make a great first impression. The more she gets to know Enrique the more she will soon realize there is more to him then meets the eye. He has so many swoon worthy moments in this book, but none better then the very end in the epilogue. I enjoyed the previous books in this series and this one was no different. Enrique and Madeleine will instantly capture your heart and get you invested in their story. This is a book I gobbled up.

This story is an interesting read. If you are a fan of arranged marriage stories or royal romances , this is a satisfying read.As it is part of a series many of the characters from earlier books reappear and play a part in this book as well and add to th growth and development Od the main character Enrique.
