Love gets the checkered flag

Back in her home town of Marietta, actor and drama teacher, Franchesca doesn't know what to do with her mother needing to go into care, her business barely breaking even and now car repair costs are the last straw.Coming to her rescue is handsome and wealthy young widower and single dad, Mike St Claire. An ex race car driver, Mike has been offered another chance to race and plans to take it.Seeing that Franchesca is in need, and knowing she is good with children, he offers her the job of caring for his daughter, Annalise, when he can't be in town.While hiring her as a nanny is to their mutual benefit, Mike quickly realizes how strongly attracted he is to her.Spending time together has been wonderful and Annalise is happy. But just as they draw closer, a chance comes up for Franchesca in New York. The decision to go there for an audition might just be the end of their plans together.A lovely romance with a happy ending.

A good read

A thoroughly enjoyable book just right from relaxing at the end of a busy day.. A good romance with a few twists.

Relaxing story, not overly dramatic. Good read. I really liked the author's style of using each character wisely and not focusing only on the main characters.
