fun series

I read these three books as they were released by the author. They're a bit on the shorter side, but each perfect for an afternoon read. This author is a go-to for sweet and clean romance.Summer with the Cowboy - When the father she never met passes away and leaves his house to her, Chevy heads to South Florida to check it out. Betty and Gus, the next door neighbors, are lovely and welcoming. But Tucker, who lives on the other side - well, they get off on the wrong foot. No worries, she's just there long enough to sell the house to fund her next travel excursion. Before long, though, it begins to feel like home to Chevy. I always know that I'm going to get a sweet and clean romance from this author, but I really enjoyed this story. Chevy and Tucker have both experienced the loss and pain of a mother. There are similarities in the heartbreak in their backgrounds as well. I especially like that neither of them is looking for a relationship, but as we all know, that's when love hits the hardest. This was a really nice book to curl up to this rainy afternoon.Summer with the Carpenter - Ruby's best friend - Trent's grandmother - leaves the inn to Ruby with two caveats: Trent has to do the needed repairs, and Trent and Ruby have to be married by July 25. Otherwise, the inn will go to his biggest competitor. As if this isn't enough stress, Ruby has to get Christmas in July planned. This is a wonderful summer romance. Trent and Ruby get off on the wrong foot in the beginning. It was fun to watch these two become friends, and then begin to embrace Sandy's wishes. The road has some bumps along the way, and family relationships can be complicated. The town is a welcoming place, full of interesting and friendly people.Summer with the Doctor - Cleo bails on her wedding once she realizes it's for the best. Wearing her wedding gown with her phone in the pocket, she finds herself in Blue Bay, where she runs into Caleb. They had a fling 10 years ago, but that ended when he broke her heart. She'd like to be together with him again. He'd like that as well, but knows that she won't want him once he tells her the truth. He's in Blue Bay, taking a break from medicine, harboring a huge secret. They find a message in a bottle, sending them on a treasure hunt. This is such a cute addition to this series. It's sweet and clean, and the mystery is so much fun, seeing them involve their new friends in Blue Bay.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

3 Beach Romances

The second compilation of the Blue Bay Beach series, including : Summer with the Cowboy, Chevy's Cowboy Cookies and Kettle Corn. The stories are clean, Christian romances, all could be read as stand-alone as except for the place they play in nothing connects the stories. This way although it is a boxed set, it feels more like a collection of stories. The style is engaging and entertaining. Ther stories themselves are nor really anything special, but well-written and it is fairly easy to identify to some degree with the main characters of the book.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Binge Worthy Set

Three very intriguing stories of unique meetings between three women and the men they meet. All very believable, with strong characters and intense feelings and emotions. The stories have plenty of surprises, like the part about having to marry or getting a house that your father left you when you never met him. Twists like leaving your wedding and finding someone you once knew long ago on a beach far from home. The storyline keep you on the edge, just waiting for the next shoe to drop. Loved the endings and hope to read more of this series soon.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Great Box Set!!

Romance Content for all 3 books: kissingSummer with the Cowboy2 starsI don’t know why because I usually love all the books I read by Ellie Hall but personally this one just wasn’t my favorite. I’m not sure if it was that I’m not big on cowboys or what but I can definitely see other people (cowboy lovers) adoring this book. If you love her Ritchie Farm books you will love this one since it is Tucker Ritchie and Chevy whose love story plays out.Even though it is an ‘enemies to lovers’ it is more of a misunderstanding.Content: does talk about alcohol and drug abuse, very lightly though, only referring to it. Also talks about Illegal street racing.Summer with the Carpenter4 starsAnyone who loves the “play house” trope will love this. I loved that they were the only ones in the Sandy Shore Inn so they cooked together and helped plan for the Christmas in July Jubilee. It was really just so cute. The only thing I was a bit confused about was if they were going to actually be married in the middle of the story but it was more about falling in love with each other before they got married. I just wanted to clear that up.Also he isn’t a carpenter but a contractor.Summer with the Doctor5 starsLOOOOOOVED!!!I didn’t quite get the big deal with the age gap, only 7 years.I loved that these characters were 33 and 40 years old. I think there should be more romances like this.He is not just a doctor but also Australian. Yes, I know some of you ladies read that and then bought the book. ;)The adventure to find the treasure definitely was cute for this story. The only thing wrong with this story was it wasn’t long enough. I need more!!! LolI received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.

second half of the series

Cowboy:
I loved this installment in the Blue Bay Beach Series. These stories are fun and easy to curl up with and read. They are sweet with relatable characters. I loved the idea of finding a home and facing your past that was woven in this book. I’m super excited for more of both the beach and the Ritchies!

Carpenter:
A sweet, whirlwind, Christmassy (in July!) romance. Two characters coming together after loss for a marriage of convenience. It’s definitely different from the previous books in this series and a bit shorter. I enjoyed these characters finding their way as they banished the demons of their pasts.

Doctor:
I enjoyed this second chance romance. I really liked the connection these two had. The Dominican Republic aspect really got to me as DR is near and dear to my heart. The treasure hunt adventure was a really neat and fun addition to the story.
