Summer with the Doctor is the sixth book in the Blue Bay Beach Romance series and it is a charming, clean and sweet romance. The story is about Cleo and Caleb who have a second chance but there are secrets, mystery and romance all mixed into a wonderfully written book.If you are looking for something fun and interesting with some clean romance then Ellie Hall is a wonderful writer and this book does not disappoint.I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

good book

She really found out the hard way about marriage. It was unfortunate but it happens. She took the time she needed to heal from her life. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it.This was a wonderfully enchanting story. It just drew me in. This is the final book of the series but the first one that I have read. It appears that the prior characters make appearances here. It is not necessary to read the other stories to enjoy this one though.Cleo Carson wants to be married and have a passel of children. Her biological clock is ticking. So why is she a runaway bride? She is sitting in her wedding gown on the beach. She spies a lone male figure on the beach. As the man approaches, it is the man that broke her heart ten years ago. Dr. Caleb Robinson resigned from his prestigious career as a premier cardiac surgeon. He is holing up in Blue Bay Beach to escape from an event that is plaguing him.Cleo just has her phone in her pocket (one thing her sister insist is that all dresses need a pocket!) She has no money, no purse and nothing to change into. Caleb takes her back to the place he is renting. Before leaving the beach though, they spy an old bottle in the sand. It appears to be an old bottle. There is a piece of paper inside. Upon getting back to the house, they discover a riddle that leads them on a merry chase for buried treasure!I adored the dual POV format. Cleo is an outspoken person that just puts everything out in the open. Caleb on the other hand is hiding a secret from Cleo. She can feel it but she doesn't want to push the issue. She knows he will tell her when he is ready to.This is a sweet, clean second chance with the first love romance. There is a Christian undertone through the story that made the romance charming.

For the second time I took a chance on a whole set. And, for the second time, I was delighted. Fun stories, fun characters, and interconnecting plots made it fun reading. 😁
