"I love this kind of collection. I've read two of these and I need to read the rest.

Rescued by Love

Wow, this is such a fun book! I really loved the whole premise of this one. Cam is firefighter just going about his own business, but he constantly has the women that he's working to save throwing themselves at him. And sometimes it makes him uncomfortable and even a little bit hard to do his job.

And then he meets Sage. I love the scene where they meet! Sage has gone in to the store to get her mom some tights. But there was no where to park, so she left her jeep in front of the fire hydrant. And, of course, there's a fire in the building. Sage exits the store with the rest of the shoppers only to find one of the firefighters soaking her open jeep with the water from the hydrant. And then he has the nerve to hit on her. That's when she spots Cam. Sage knows that there's no way the hot firefighter would ever want to go out with her, the Amazon schoolteacher who is a bit of a rule breaker with her bright red jeep.

This really is a fun story. I loved the feel of it, I felt just like I was in the mountains of Park City with Sage. Wind blowing through our hair as we cruised around in her jeep.

Reluctant Rescue

This was another one of the Park City Firefighter Romances and I LOVED it! I actually read this one first, so it was kind of fun to see the glimpses of Levi and Caylee that you got in Rescued by Love turn into real people in this one.

I liked Caylee. She is a strong young woman who is not looking for a relationship. She pretty much goes on one date with a guy and then he's gone. She has some serious trust issues from her family situation as a child and that makes it hard for her to commit to anyone. And Caylee knows Levi already because he's the brother of her brother's fiance. She wants nothing to do with him.

Then there's Levi. He's just gotten home from Afghanistan. When he meets Caylee, he's intrigued. But it's pretty obvious that she's not into him. Then they're constantly thrown together on a group trip to Lake Powell and he sees what a risk taker she is and know that he wants to spend the rest of his life protecting her from herself.

This is such a fun novella! I loved the setting, I could almost see the red rocks of Lake Powell and smell the water. I loved the story, and the characters. I really loved the way that Levi was willing to step back and allow Caylee the time to grow into whoever she was going to become."

Park City Adventures

RESCUED BY LOVE -Cam and Sage drew me in with their fun banter and desire to serve those around them, especially the children. Sage's insecurities about herself even though others think she is so beautiful lead to misunderstandings with Cam who is a male. He is a true protector, but not always the best at expressing himself. I love Cami Checketts' writing style. She brings the characters to life and helps me feel what they are feeling. I also become attached to secondary characters of hers. This story is no exception. Cam's sister Caylee and Sage's brother Levi are just begging for their own story. I was thrilled to discover that their story is also in this series. While each story stands alone, it is fun to get a peek into the lives of other beloved characters from other books in the series.RELUCTANT RESCUE -Two protective older brothers whom each fall in love with the other’s younger sister makes for some fun and awkward moments. I had so much fun watching these 4 work out their relationships with one another. The main characters in this book are Caylee, flirty and fun, and Levi, strong and determined. Their siblings are already engaged to each other at the start of this story. A week with the 4 of them together on a houseboat at Lake Powell provides the perfect opportunity for relationships to grow. While both of the main characters have difficult pasts to overcome, they find strength in one another. I loved the chemistry and strength that came through.STONE COLD SPARKS -I loved watching the sparks fly in this story! I have been reading these firefighter stories out of order. It doesn't matter, I love them anyway. I was impressed by Abi's persistence and confidence in herself when she just keeps coming back to try to pull Stone out of his funk. I love the way the story heats up even while the characters find themselves continually out in the cold snow. Stone's integrity and desire to be worthy of the love of his life is endearing. Watching these two sort out their feelings melted my heart.SNOWED IN FOR CHRISTMAS -A terrific story that illustrates how impulsive decisions can have lasting consequences. Jace and Charlotte are both spunky and fun. They are friends from their youth that become reacquainted. I thought this story was quite poignant in showing how hard it is to overcome past mistakes even when we are truly sorry. The consequences can have a ripple effect. Charlotte's feistiness and her even more feisty Grams makes the book entertaining and hard to put down. I read it in one day. I also love Charlotte's big brothers who happen to be the firefighters she works with. Their protectiveness provides humor all of its own. So much fun! Now I need to read Stone Cold Sparks to get the story behind this one.

Amazing collection

This was an amazing collection of stories. Each of the characters by themselves as well as how they interconnect with each other through the stories were fabulous. Love each of the plots. Definitely a great read.
