A good read from Cami

Charlotte is a firefighter, Jace was her sister's boyfriend, he disappeared once her sister died. Charlotte has always had a crush on him but won't do anything because of her sister. There are lots of secrets which Jace can't divulge. He wishes he could speak to Charlotte about things. Her grandmother is trying to set them up with each other, although her parents don'tlike him.

You need loyal friends

I enjoyed the humor in this story. I loved the chacter of Charlotte & Jace's words of love were heartwarming. I hope if someone reading has a controller they live with they will wake up. Charlotte's relationship with the firemen she worked with was heartwarming & their protective care for her was wonderful. Jace is the perfect example of why we have to forgive ourselves for our past mistakes. I loved Grams & her loyalty to Charlotte.

It's Good, but...

I've really liked the other books in this series but I just couldn't get into this one. Maybe it was that for most of the book it was just conflict. I really tried but couldn't get myself to like Charlotte. I've really enjoyed all of the other books from this author. I'll still be reading everything I can from this author. No one is perfect.

Wow!

I really liked this story and the characters involved. Best friends, secrets, family drama, misunderstandings, love, hate, and what a grandma. This book made me want to read the rest of the series. Well done.
