All I want this Christmas is to start new traditions with my daughter in our new place—in peace. But when Captain Logan Riley shows up at my doorstep with a letter from Melly's late father, the quiet holiday season instantly turns to chaos.

I've never told anyone who her father is—not my family, my friends, nor the father himself. I’ve certainly never told the handsome soldier who claims to be his best friend. The same man I should definitely not be falling for. It doesn’t matter that he’s made a promise to stick around until I read that letter. He's not staying beyond a few days, and even if he was, this is all too complicated.

Maybe someone should reiterate that to Ed though. The local moose notorious for his matchmaking skills is currently stalking me. I’ve lived in Sunset Ridge long enough to know what happens when this moose singles you out. But that doesn’t matter. Because I'm absolutely not looking for love this Christmas.

Even if love seems determined to find me.

Moose on the loose.

Logan is fulfilling his friends last request. Deliver a letter to Haylee who used to be his girlfriend . I had fun reading about Ed the moose and his notoriously match making skills. I loved what the letter said that clinched the deal.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Matchmaking moose

- Single mother- Secret baby- Small town romance- Matchmaking mooseI love moose. So any series that features a quirky moose is one I will definitely read. The moose in this story, Ed, is known to be somewhat of a matchmaker. When single mom Haylee encounters Ed, she is certain it must be for some other reason. She has no intention of dating and focuses her life on her daughter. This focus will change now that her daughter's late father's best friend is in town. He has a letter from Dylan, the father, and does not plan on leaving until Haylee reads it.Logan has his mission, but decides to spend the time needed until Haylee reads the letter with his grandmother, making the most of the holidays. And then he realizes that Dylan never knew about his daughter....This is a sweet, but sometimes heart tugging romance. I recommend reading the whole series if you love Ed as much as I do!

Ed is up to His Matchmaking Antics Again

Ed is on the move again in this return to Sunset Ridge, Alaska. I really enjoyed reading this book in the Finding Love in Alaska Series. It's been awhile since we have seen the matchmaking antics of Ed the Moose. He helped match many of the Evans siblings except the youngest Haylee. When Ed shows up on more than one occasion she starts to get worried. Her life is finally starting to settle down where she finally has her own place to live with her daughter Melly. To make matters worse for her, a close friend of her deceased ex Dylan, Captain Logan Riley has shown up with a letter. Dylan was the father of her daughter and Haylee had never revealed his identity to her family and friends. Even Dylan never knew he had a child since he returned her letter to her unopened. Now Logan is waiting for a secret code found in the letter. She just doesn't want o read it so keeps putting it off.Logan has brought his grandmother with him to Sunset Ridge to help her fulfill some things on her bucket list. He has resigned his commission in the military and joined the reserves to be stationed in Anchorage. His best friend Dylan's parents live near there, so he wanted to help encourage them after the death of their son. Logan had heard so much about Haylee from Dylan that he almost thought he knew her. He never expected to be so attracted to her and he was taken aback by the discovery that Dylan had a daughter. No one had to reveal that to him, she looked like her father. Will the matchmaking pressure of Ed push these two together before Logan is supposed to leave Sunset Ridge?.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Emotional, intense, fast paced Christmas Contemporary Romance

Chrismoose Kisses is the tenth title in the Finding Love in Alaska series, and it may also be the last, but time will tell on that. I haven’t read the earlier stories, but now I need to go back for more Ed the Moose shenanigans to enjoy.Haylee is a bit concerned that the town’s matchmaking moose, Ed, has been, well, stalking her lately. She knows the legend of this four-hooved matchmaker and doesn’t trust him as far as she could toss him. And besides, there aren’t a lot of single guys in this small town, even if she hadn’t crossed romance off her bucket list. She has her daughter, Melly, her family, and friends… what does she need with romance? Well, she’s about to find out. One former military man is about to fall into the moose’s trap… with Haylee.Logan is on a mission to deliver a letter to Haylee from his best friend Dylan, who is deceased. He would have made the trip anyway, for he felt like he knew Haylee from his friend’s conversations about her, but he has another reason to hang around… and Haylee is making it very difficult by constantly putting off reading that letter.I enjoyed Chrismoose Kisses very much. It’s well-written, full of laughter and tears, a charming town, a mischievous moose, and a couple who really do belong together… if they’re willing to take that risk with their hearts. I plan on going back to the beginning of the series, for I feel that I missed a lot of stories that I would have enjoyed. And I’d imagine that Haylee and Logan’s story would feel a bit different if I had all the background. That’s a 2026 goal, but for now, this was an amazing story that I’d not hesitate to recommend.*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the author or the author’s team via Booksprout, and I sincerely thank them for their trust. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Wonderful read

This is a sweet, Christmas romance novella. Haylee has a 6 year old daughter and she’s told no one about her father. However, when Captain Logan from the army comes to town to deliver a letter from his late best friend, worlds collide. This military romance is sweet and swoony and has all of the moments, including a matchmaking moose. This is the last book in a small town Alaska series - my favorite setting for a book and it was a lovely read. The romance is just kisses, intimacy level 2.

I received an eARC of this book from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
