Summer Henley is sick of playing it safe.

Safe career path (accounting.)

Safe place to live (with her parents.)

Safe best friend (Mark.)

In Summer's dreams, she's a screenwriter with a huge home in Malibu and a hot actor boyfriend. But that's for her someday file. For the moment, she’ll play the part of a good worker, good daughter, and good friend. Even though her heart longs for something more, especially with Mark.

The biggest problem is Mark treats her like a queen. Every time she’s around him, she falls a little deeper.

Knowing her dream, Mark’s secured her a spot as an extra in a Korean television show—placing her directly in the path of the handsome lead actor. Now, two incredible men are vying for her attention. Summer has to decide if her dreams are really what she wants, or if her reality is better than she could imagine.

Loved it

This was a cute and sweet k-story about seeing and truly recognizing what you have. I liked how the love triangle worked out. This was sweet and clean, I'd rate it PG. I look forward to more books in this awesome series!

Hungry for a cute read? Look no further :)

I’m always in the mood for cute and sweet stores. A little fluff isn’t a bad thing either. This book had all that and more. After colliding with a movie star (who’s just come to town) sends her down a surprising path, Summer ends up facing the choice between two cute guys - the best friend/boy next door whom she’s always crushed on, or the persistent and dreamy actor. And she even learns a thing or two about herself in the process. It’s a simple story, really, but done well and with just enough fluff and poignancy to make the resolution satisfying :)

Immaturity fest

I hardly do this, but I was excited to continue the Korean Crush series and this was just a disappointment. The girl is supposed to be in her early 20s, but throughout the ENTIRE book she acts like a moody teenager. The tantrums she throws are ridiculous. I finished it in hopes of it getting better and it just didn't. The hero seemed the only saving grace and then even he started making crap decisions. Ended up hating the book and would not recommend.

Not Quite There

I'm usually a fan of Ms. Bennett's writing, but this one didn't quite connect for me.The writing is solid. The characters well crafted. But the plot didn't quite come together. I had no issues with the ethnic or cultural backgrounds of the characters. And I don't even mind far-fetched over the top romance either. I felt like there were holes or missed plot points or something. Maybe another book in this series would be more to be taste.
