A man desperate for a quiet Christmas.

A woman desperate to save her legacy.

One snowy collision that changes everything.

Nathan Pennington—billionaire attorney and workaholic extraordinaire—arrives in Park City with one goal: relax, ski, and forget the brutal year he’s had. The plan works…until a rogue ski bunny sprays snow in his face and keeps going.

No one disrespects Nathan Pennington like that.

He chases her down the mountain, ready to give her a piece of his mind—

Until he meets her eyes.

Fierce. Broken. Beautiful.

And suddenly chewing her out is the last thing he wants to do.

Storm Goodman is done.

Done with skiing setbacks.

Done with heartbreak.

Done with a year that’s lived up to her stormy name.

But nothing prepares her for the news that hits four days before Christmas: she can’t inherit her grandfather’s ranch unless she’s married by noon on Christmas Day.

She has a fiancé, technically…

Too bad he’s the man who cheated on her.

Enter the furious stranger from the slopes—who unexpectedly turns out to be charming, thoughtful, and way too handsome for her peace of mind. One date leads to night skiing, hot-tubbing under snowy skies, dancing with retirees, and a kiss that flips everything she thought she knew about timing…and love.

Now Storm must choose between the man who betrayed her and the man who might be perfect for her—if she’ll risk everything.

Nathan and Storm are about to discover that sometimes the worst timing…

is exactly when love shows up.

A heart-warming Christmas romance for fans of billionaire bachelors, snowy mountain towns, and second chances that sparkle.

Editorial Reviews

I got hooked on this cute story and didn’t want to stop reading. In the book, an attorney, Nathan, was meeting his brother and sister-in-law at a resort for Christmas. On the slopes, a ski bunny went whizzing past him, throwing snow in all directions and he wanted to yell at her, until he looked into her eyes and saw her sadness. This whole story-line is quick, intense and wonderful. All new ideas come to me as I read that they discussed “timing” in life and I totally understood this book. Thanks for a great short story and thanks for thinking of your fans.

A very good clean romance story.

I really loved this story, it was so much fun to read. These two had that undeniable spark between them from the very beginning. I also loved the fact that both of these characters had expenience quite a bit of loss in there lives, and were feeling a little vulnerable when they first met. I loved the spunky interaction between Nathan and Storm, and even though the ending was good, I just wished there had been a bit more. I wanted to see them walk down the isle, witness them getting married, and maybe even a hint of what happened to them down the road a bit.I would highly recommend this book to everyone who loves a good, clean romance story that warms your hearts and souls.

Good story

Not a bad story, a bit long. I would not consider this a Christian romance but it is clean, no foul language or serious scenes. Overall not bad

Liked it

It was a good read right from the beginning, and it never let up. I liked the characters and how the billionaire changes and recaptures his ' humanity'. It restored my hope that good things can still happen. (I know, it's just a story- but I needed this today).
