A billionaire cowboy with a guarded heart.

A single mom with everything to lose.

One deal that feels a lot like destiny.

Hunter James has always called himself lucky. Growing up dirt poor in rural Texas? Lucky. Surviving Afghanistan? Lucky. Striking oil and winning forty acres of prime horse property in Jackson, Wyoming? Luck—plus sheer grit. Hunter’s always believed you make your own fortune…and he’s ready to make one more gamble.

Summer Kingston fled Jackson ten years ago with a broken heart and a secret. She never expected to return—but raising her son somewhere safe matters more than her pride. When she loses her job on day one and discovers someone’s threatening the land she inherited, Summer is out of options.

Then Hunter James steps in with an offer she didn’t see coming:

He’ll help her—if she agrees to one date.

She’s seen his playboy reputation splashed across headlines and refuses to be another notch in his belt. But to protect her land, she’s willing to call his bluff. One beach trip, a few stolen moments on horseback, and a whole lot of Hunter fixing everything from fences to her faith in men…and Summer realizes she might be falling for him.

Until a picture surfaces of Hunter kissing his ex—and her old high school boyfriend shows up complicating everything she’s tried to rebuild.

Now they both have a choice to make:

Fold and walk away…

or go all-in on the one love worth risking everything for.

Perfect for readers who crave heartfelt romance, rugged cowboys, and second chances that feel like fate.

Editorial Reviews

I loved this book. Summer and Hunter start out not liking it each other and slowly learn how wrong they are. It is a sweet romantic tale of two people falling in love and finding happiness they didn't think was in their future. The love that Cade (Summer's young son) has for Hunter made me smile. Taylor Hart does not disappoint and I am anxious to read all of the Jackson Hole Bachelor Billionaire Romances. All readers looking for a romantically sweet story must put this one on the top of your lists.

Good

I loved this book until he didn't trust her. Of course it was a quick romance and all. I loved his friends and their teasing. FYI there are not that many billionaires in this world and most of them are taken.

Fun ride!

Loved this! I so love T.H. writing! Always engaging, sincere, honest characters. This series shows some genuine emotions. I love how both sides of the story are told. The feelings and thought of both characters made for an interesting read. It was a gradual fall, but sweet and interesting. Characters from other novels were in this one as well, although mainly briefly. The H was definitely more of a worldly type. The h, not so much, but definitely had had her disappointments and seen the world a little too.I am definitely a fan of her writing. This made me want to re-read her other novels! Just did a binge re-read of most of them!Always some strong female and male characters in her books with real needs and fun settings.

The man yields to the woman (sometimes)

This author continues to amaze me. I love this story. She shows her characters to be like regular people. We are sometimes wrong, sometimes right, and hopefully all wanting to be the best we can be. I love it when both men and women are allowed to say that they are wrong.
